I believe Matthew Henry is wrong in his assumption that after the 7th trumpet Christ will set up his kingdom on earth. The 7th trumpet calls the dead and the living in Christ to heaven in a physical, visual transformation and resurrection. This event will be seen by all the unbelievers (this is the act refered to as the rapture by many Christians) and will make believers of many of those left behind but will harden the hearts of many many more. The final 7 vials or bowls of judgement of God (this is the wrath of God) is poured out on the beast and the non-believers but the new believers (who also refuse the mark of the beast)are protected from these judgements. They will be easily spotted by the beast and his followers and these saints will be hunted.
