Hello friends, what are my thought's about this verse in my opinion i see for one thing that this verse is directly speaking to a, BROTHER! you may say what kind of brother, is it a brother who is a bible believeing, god fearing, toughtalking, walking, professing, and may i go on further etc etc.or just a brother who may have not know the in depth love and character of GOD the father and jesus and the holy spirit. You can't dislike a brother once you have experiance an offence coming your way like it say, later in the chapter about cain killing his brother abel for he was jealous of his actions I DON'T CARE how much you may say within yourself how much you love the lord, as far as im concerned, you can still have all the opportunite in the world to receive an offence, GOD forbid that you who are a christian can hold on to these impulses you who should be more caring about the next person, not just your brother, yes a person, that person may be the one you see over and over again sitting in the back row well why dont you just walk up to him and introduce yourself instead of thinking about how brother offended you if he does go to him and ask for forgiveness, to crucify that anger in your heart and replace it with gods love ,sorry cant love god and hate your brother at the same time. So i can ask jesus in my heart, yes, be saved yes BUT! can i still have a oppertunity for an offence yes, no, yes, no, well what is it STOPPPPPP! we need to still day by day grow up in spiritaly need for gods love thats what we need in our lives so i welcome offence not that i should be a partaker of what was done wrongfully to me both good or bad but that i should yeild every memeber of my body to be subjected to jesus my saviour for his glory not mine.
