    Why would Jesus sometimes tell those whom He healed "tell no man"?

    When bible prophecies are being fulfilled, Yahuwah does not want the unrighteous to know. During that time, Yahushua did not want the whole of Israel to know that the Messiah is here until all he came to do has been done.

    Maybe at that time Jesus wanted to help people but didn't want the miracles to drown out his message of salvation? Matthew 6:3-4. Perhaps humility too.

    Melvin - Some say it was political reasons. If certain Jews specifically the Zealots had strong reason to assume their Messiah was there, they would cause a revolt against the Romans to overthrow them, which would cause a bad name for Jesus since they are misinterpreting the prophecy about the Messiah subduing their enemies. It wasn't Jesus's time yet to stop the heathen, He had to suffer first.
