Roman's 16:20 refers to Genesis 3:15 which is the first prophecy spoken by God and considered the first gospel. Paul had his own heel's physically bruised from his testimony. Jesus roots are with those God approves. The Jewish pronoun in Genesis has a masculine noun, yet the king James version places it. The Roman Catholic opinion places a woman, yet The Holy Spirit was called he by Christ.
I think "it" is appropriate, for it is not only speaking of Jesus THE Christ, but Christ, in which there is neither male nor female. I believe it reveals that the seed of the woman is also the seed of Abraham, that generation chosen of the Lord, the church in this world, declaring his righteousness unto a people yet to be born. We are many, but we are one, one seed, and we are both male and female
The woman came out of a males rib and the son came first out of God in the beginning. Without the Son there is no creation nor duplication, nor bi-product of Love. All 3 even by science has merit and can witness each other. Who asks if God must endure pain to hold the universe open before they ask for knowledge? You can't be accepted by a father or a mother without the sons introduction.
1 Corinthians 11:11-12 KJV Nevertheless neither is the man without the woman, neither the woman without the man, in the Lord. 12 For as the woman is of the man, even so is the man also by the woman but all things of God.
