    Were not the Phillistines judged by GOD and supposed to be driven out of the land?

    I don't think so. I read.... 2This is the land that yet remaineth: all the borders of the Philistines, and all Geshuri, 3From Sihor, which is before Egypt, even unto the borders of Ekron northward, which is counted to the Canaanite: five lords of the Philistines .....I think that Israel's land was meant to border with the Philistines, and the Amorites.
