Paul was simply warning the Galatians to not be pulled in by the Judaizers with their false works based salvation gospel. Because salvation is by Grace through Faith in Jesus Christ and nothing else. Obedience is not what saves us or keeps us saved it is the trust and reliance in what Jesus did for us on the cross. When we place our faith anywhere else we trample the blood of Christ under foot.

So I am hearing the law and works mean nothing, so why not do what you want? Jesus said to the apostles go out and preach to the gentiles. AND THOSE WHO WILL RECEIVE YOU STAY. That is deeds doing the receiving. I can never figure out how someone like me can be Christ's. When in my life will I deserve him. OH yes, when I pick up my cross and follow him. Another law. I'm confused as the bible says.

The Bible already covered this. The answer is no, you can't just do whatever evil you want assuming you're covered by grace and expect to get into heaven. Matthew 7:21, Romans 6:1, John 14:15. Even satan believes, so believing isn't enough. A Christian must follow Jesus which is an active role, not passive. Revelation 3:16. Satan has deceived people into believing they can sin all they want and don't have to be obedient or follow Jesus. The Bible refutes that.
