Of all the observations you could have made, you had to pick out the fleshly one about 'dating one's own kind'. Can you not see what the essence of this wonderful chapter is..? "be mindful of the lord thy God all thy days and let not thy will be to sin......neither turn thy face from any poor and the face of God shall not be turned away from thee....love thy brethren, and despise not in thy heart thy brethren....give of thy bread to the hungry, and of thy garments to them that are naked...." and most powerfully of all in my view, verse 21.." And fear not my son that we are made poor, for thou hast much wealth, if thou fear God, and depart from all sin and do what is pleasing in God's sight". These words are essentially the Gospel of the New Testament as uttered by our Lord and savior Jesus Christ and later his apostles. This message is a continuation of God's commitment, from Old Testament, Apocrypha, and New Testament to those who love and fear him. Finally, understand that God wants his people to be joined as husbands and wives who are children, therefore descendants of Christ, THROUGH HIS HOLY SPIRIT, these are the adopted children of Israel as you cannot be yoked with an unbeliever....
