Ephesians 4 verse 29 clearly says that we are to watch what we say and avoid using profanity words. So many people in these modern times use filthy languages nonstop and sadly it has become acceptable nowadays.
If we walk in perfected love we would not notice others actions. Read 1st John 4:17. We need to let our love cover their multitude of sin 1st Peter 4:8
If we recognize the power of our words have life and death , then we would be more careful about even our choice of words. Our words give us identity therefore if we use filthy language we are conveying to others that we are filthy. If we find ourselves in that position of weakness, then we must ask for God's spirit to transform our lives. Read Proverbs 4:24
