The work of sanctification takes a lifetime, we are continually learning and drawing closer to God and our carnal heart naturally does NOT want to do good so we must be in constant communication with our heavenly Father like Jesus was when He walked this earth read 4 gospels.Jesus being crucified made PROVISION for us to have forgiveness of sins when we sin, it's a moment by moment walk with God.
Paula God tells us He knows those who are His and not One of us will be Lost Eternally because He tells us to be Perfect as He is Matt5:48 Heb6:1Phil 3:14-15, 1Joh4:16-18 being Born Again we have His Seed so we Cannot Sin 1Joh3:1-11 1Joh 5:18-20 1Joh2:28-29 haveing put our Carnal Flesh to death by The Spirit Romans 8:11-16 Romans6:18 Col3:4-6 Gal 5:24-28 1Joh3:2-4 we have worked out our Salvation
Freedom Now-Not one will be lost as long as they are being obedient to God. We are tempted by the devil day and night and our only hope of staying obedient to God is by constant prayer to Him. 1 John 2:1 If we do sin we have an advocate with the Father through Jesus Christ the righteousness. Phil 2:12 Work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. It is NOT once saved always saved
Seventh Day I Believe if God said it that Settles It. This is why I don't argue about a Man or Woman's own fleshy Understanding, it shows they are being Contentious. Although you did share some Truth but also error too. Please read all the Scriptures I shared with Paula and Confirm with KJV Scripture that we do continue to Sin even when we are Perfect and Born Again of God's Seed He says 1Joh3:9.
Freedom Now-People mistake the meaning of the cross in saying Jesus did it all at the cross and now I'm saved, no need to do anything in order to go to heaven. Romans 6:23 The wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life. God gave his Son to us crucifixion to make provision for us to confess and repent when we fall into sin. It's a lifetime walk with God not once saved always saved
