what is the subject matter on "old things are past away and become a new creation" as stated in this translation and what chapter and verse is it in regards to?
We are new in Christ so no sin is with us. Granted we will sin, we sin constantly because we are born into our mortal bodies with it. But all the old sins are forgotten by Jesus, he even says I will through your sin into the sea of forgetfulness, never to be used against you again.
When a person becomes a new believer in Christ, The are made new in everything they do. When you are saved, your sin is washed away by the blood of Jesus. That is why he died on the cross, so he could save our sins. So when you are a saved born again Christian, you are essentially made new as that of a baby, but instead of being born physically in sin.
