    And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven and did cast them to the earth - we know from the book of Revelation 1:20 that the stars represent Angels. So here the third part of the stars represents all the fallen angels who sided with the devil when war broke out in heaven and were cast down with him after losing the fight in Revelation 12:7-9. He caused them to rebel against God through deception. And the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, Israel waiting patiently for salvation from the Messiah- for to devour her child as soon as it was born. KING HEROD SEEKING TO KILL THE MESSIAH OR JESUS CHRIST AS A CHILD IN BETHLEHEM. HE HOPED TO DESTROY HIS EARTHLY KINGDOM BEFORE IT EVEN BEGAN.
