    Hello Everyone,
I just have a question about the Standard KJV being used here. I learned and memorized passage from the old KJV version (not the 1611 version), where it states in John 3:27 "A man receiveth nothing except it be given from on High." Now I am not quoting letter for letter of course, but noticed of all KJVs I am reading online at the moment, that verse is replaced with modern English text "A man receive nothing except it's given from heaven". I miss the 'receiveth' and 'on High' most especially in that verse. I am beginning to doubt, maybe I imagined the old text.
Any of you read same as me, or was it my imagination? Feels weird.

Mine has the 2nd version. If you'll stop in at goodwill you might see the Bible you prefer. Maybe go online and contact Thomas Nelson Publishers and see if the carry the version with the "eths".
