Mark 16:15 KJV Jesus tells us to go into the world and preach the gospel to EVERY CREATURE. Do you know why creature was used instead of MAN ??
  • Marcus Brazil - In Reply on Mark 16:15 - 4 years ago
I am to be 88 years old this September 4 and saw the light in my 70s. I am growing and learning more every day. I often will read God's word and see things I did not see in times past when I read the same verse. Noticing "creature" used rather than man was curious to me. I had an idea that it was probably similar to what you first replied but I do know that it did not mean all animals. I would think it would be more practical to think other human like creatures we are not aware of yet rather than other animals from this earth. I DO know it is the truth, whatever the explanation. If God wants me to know, he will tell me !! Take Daniel 3:25 for instance----how did Nebuchadnezzar know what Jesus looks/ looked like when he told his subjects he saw the 4 men cavorting about in the furnace like they were on an afternoon walk and one of them looked like The Son of God even though they had put only 3 into the furnace. God bless you and give you an abundance of wisdom and knowledge.

Is the breath of life from God not spirit?

Wouldn't every breathing thing, created by God, therefore contain spirit?

Did God not create all of the animals?

    Ecclesiastes 3:18-21

    Psalm 150:6

    Genesis 7:15

A man can study the Bible his entire life and will claim he knows everything about it. The reason a man studies the Bible his entire life is to TRY to better understand it. NO MAN KNOWS THE FULL WORKS AND WONDERS OF GOD OR HIS CREATION.

Saying "no it is a metaphor" is an opinion from personal understanding.

Use scripture. Not someone else's opinion.

Personal Understanding will get you oh so far. But the Spirit. Can get you unlimited knowledge, by God's will. Saying that Jesus speaks in metaphors. Is clear when Jesus says in 1 Samuel 26:12 . is that not a metaphor. When it says "deep sleep".
  • A Bible believer - In Reply on Mark 16:15 - 4 years ago
It is a clear that a lot of things in the Bible are metaphors from the saying "fishers of men" to the whole book of Revelation.
  • A Bible believer - In Reply on Mark 16:15 - 4 years ago
The references you brought did not support. I dont see "spirit in animals"
  • A Bible believer - In Reply on Mark 16:15 - 4 years ago
Its a metaphor. Ok. Other religions think there is a spirit in animals. THERE IS NOT.

Are you telling me that there will not be any animals in heaven? I believe there will be. animals did'nt sin. I want all my animals that I had to be there.
  • A Bible believer - In Reply on Mark 16:15 - 4 years ago
Where in the Bible does it says in the Bible that animals will in heaven. No where.
  • Stanjett - In Reply on Mark 16:15 - 4 years ago
The wolf shall lie down with the lamb.
  • Stanjett - In Reply on Mark 16:15 - 4 years ago
Animals will be in heaven. The wolf will lie down with the lamb and many other places. The animals didn't sin so why would they not be in heaven?
  • Mishael - In Reply on Mark 16:15 - 4 years ago
I believe animals will be in heaven too. According to Romans 1, creation was to teach us that Someone benevolent, made all we see.
  • Stanjett - In Reply on Mark 16:15 - 4 years ago
absolutely, animals will be in heaven. They didnt sin. The lamb will lay down with the wolf and will not harm the lamb.
  • Adam - In Reply on Mark 16:15 - 4 years ago
Does that mean all animals that ever lived will be in heaven, a confined space? That would be trillions of animals, including spiders, snakes, ticks, bees, flies, jellyfish, killer whales, sharks? Are you sure the only qualification to enter heaven is 'not sinning' instead of a human being believing in Jesus, repenting and following Him? Did Jesus die on the cross so a fly could be saved? Do flies follow Jesus?

Now go find some scriptures to hold up what you just said. Use the Search Box.
  • Stanjett - In Reply on Mark 16:15 - 4 years ago
A confined space? not a confined place or space.
  • Marcus Brazil - In Reply on Mark 16:15 - 4 years ago
That's what I was thinking. I appreciate your explanation.
