    Genesis 37

The story of Joseph is a great example.

Many with hardened hearts(wicked) in my life

have helped me. However, it was not until later that I could see it.

God allowed wicked people to be in my life. Relationships, bosses, friends, family. Through their wicked and unrighteous ways I felt used, lied to, hurt and deceived. These things, later, brought me closer to God. These things, later, allowed me to understand just how magnificent and loving God truly is. He is the opposite of those things or people.

I never want to fall for, be exposed to or be a part of those wicked people again. The wicked people he allowed in my life brought spiritual growth and faith. God used the wicked to bring me closer to him. To trust under His wings. I also must be forgiving of them but thankful for the lessons and strength I received because of them. I pray for each of those people to turn and be saved. Just as I have been able to have the opportunity to turn from my worldy, wicked ways. My heart was hardened but I opened it fully to God.

We may not understand our trials in fire today but tomorrow, we will praise God for them!

Sometimes we see evil people seem to win while we think we are losing. Their win is for a season. I want my win to be for eternity!

    I hope this helps.

he major theme of Habakkuk is trying to grow from a faith of perplexity and doubt to the height of absolute trust in God. Habakkuk addresses his concerns over the fact that God will use the Babylonian empire to execute judgment on Judah for their sins. Habakkuk openly questions the wisdom of God.

This was Habakkuk's first complaint. It seemed to him that God was not answering his prayers to the wickedness and injustice he saw around him. ... Then he decided to make a covenant with the Lord and made sure he and the people would follow the commandments for the rest of his days as king.

Learn to do good; seek justice, correct oppression; bring justice to the fatherless, and please the widow's cause," ( Isaiah 1:17). "He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?" ( Micah 6:8)

In the absence of knowing what to do about what is going on around us: we need to go to default settings. The paragraph at the bottom.

God is not always going to explain things through a prophet or pastor. We have to find a similar situation in scripture.

If your Bible does not have Center Page Reference columns (for deeper study); get one. Make sure it has the columns with tiny alphabet letters. Those scriptures in them point to other revelation about what you are studying.

Part of "studying to show yourself approved unto God", means having the right equipment to get the answers you want.

    Mishael
