In re-reading Daniel 10, I was unsure who this was that Daniel saw and spoke with. At the moment, I believe it was an angel.
First, Daniel stood in the angel's presence when given strength. Second, none of the references for this angel are capitalized, such as "one", except "I", which is a matter of English. Third, this being was helped by Michael, therefore, he is not Michael. Christ would not need Michael's help. Fourth, this being is sent by someone else. Fifth, other angels have had the appearance of man.
True, that others have stood in the presence of Christ, but this posture is reinforced by the fact that the references to this being are not capitalized. The KJV translators would have capitalized the references.
