    Should we accept grants and prize money from people we don't know?

    Sure. If you get a grant to a School, would you not accept it even though you don't know who offered it.

    Well...yes we should accept them since we have applied for the grant or entered the competition to gain the prize. If there is any doubt or fear about this matter, one would just turn away from such offerings or provisions.
