  • Stephen on Exodus 32:33 - 4 years ago
Exodus 32:27 Does anyone else find it interesting that moses commanded people to be slain? Isnt that murder? And what of afterward in Exodus 32:30 Exodus 32:32 and Exodus 32:33 . Here moses says Ye have sinned a great sin and now i will go up unto the lord peradventure i shall make an atonement for your sin. And 32:33 states that the lord would blot out those whom sinned against him...... What of THALL SHALL NOT KILL? Things arent adding up here for me.... iso any insight . Stephen

Stephen...Chapter 34 is the one explaining how the !0 Commandments came about, so apparently Exodus' timeline jumps around.

So after I submitted my first comment to you Stephen, I read the beginning of the next chapter, (33), and it dawned on me that Father originally wanted to destroy them all for being so "stiffnecked" and disobedient. and Moses requested that He not do that. So maybe having them slay 3000 of their own people was their penance.

The Calf was BAAL/Satan worship... Baal is symbolized by the BULL & was similar to the word for Ruler

So they were LITERALLY & Knowingly worshipping SATAN is why 3000 who did this had to be killed, to eradicate Baal/Satan Worshippers

Yes Stephen, that has me baffled as well. Could this situation be one the secrets that Adonai Elohim meant to be kept to Himself ?
