    Why did sin not enter the world when Eve sinned?

    Rich, could you clarify? I believe that the sin nature did find its root when Eve (& Adam) sinned against God through disobedience. And through them, sin was passed onto all of us ( Romans 5:12): "Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned".

    The sin of Eve did not cause a problem.

    It was only a problem when Adam sinned.

    Rich,

    I believe you are correct.

    The contract to avoid Satan was between Adam and God, not Eve and God.

    Satan may have used Eve to get to Adam, but Satan's focus was only Adam.

    Incidentally, I believe the sin of Eve was copulation. Therefore, the sin of Adam was the same.
