I am trying to find the rest of this Romans bible quote.
God promises to make something good out of the storms that bring..... and that's all I remember. I saw this quote on Facebook and my iPad turned off. I just remember Romans...
Romans 8:28, "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose."
The Apostle Paul's affirmation that to a child of God, all things (whether of good or ill) work together according to God's Plan for us, for our good & blessing. So, even if something appears hurtful or a tragedy in life, we know that God is mindful of our physical suffering but has allowed it for a purpose, maybe just to draw us closer to Him & trust Him more for the future. Gold can only be refined through extreme heat, but the refining process is not a single event but multiple, until all the dross is removed. As God's children, we have to accept the good with the bad, knowing that it's for our growth in Christ & for His Glory as we are witnesses for Him in difficult circumstances.
