Blessings, Treasure, hoping you treasure The Word of God.

Yes, it is important to teach The Bible to our children.

When I was in public grade school, The Bible was read every morning. In Sunday School we memorized significant verses and participated in Bible Drills, looking up a given reference and were taught Bible Stories. At the dinner table every day, my parents read Scriptures from both Testaments and we talked about what it meant.

All the more, in this day where Christianity is being suppressed in public schools, that our children need to hear and read God's Word regularly and often. I still have my Schofield Reference KJV from when I was 12. I made lots of notes on these pages.

"Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee." Psa 119:11

"Open thou mine eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of thy law." Psa 119:18

"For ever, O LORD, thy word is settled in heaven." Psa 119:89

"Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path." Psa 119:105

"Thy testimonies have I taken as an heritage for ever: for they are the rejoicing of my heart." Psa 119:111

"Thou art my hiding place and my shield: I hope in thy word." Psa 119:114

"Deal with thy servant according unto thy mercy, and teach me thy statutes." Psa 119:124

"The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple." Psa 119:130

"Make thy face to shine upon thy servant; and teach me thy statutes." Psa 119:135

"Thy righteousness is an everlasting righteousness, and thy law is the truth." Psa 119:142

"Great are thy tender mercies, O LORD: quicken me according to thy judgments." Psa 119:156

"I have gone astray like a lost sheep; seek thy servant; for I do not forget thy commandments." Psa 119:176
