How do u know, what the spirit of the holy is? Is it a feeling, a revelation of some sort? A visit from an outsider? Perhaps a dream ,if so how to interpret it. Being cursed with sin, how can we interpret these things? Is the holy one, the new creature within us? Guiding and directing our path? How do we become one with the spirit? Praying seems fruitless, waiting for his answers, seems unending! Or , how about the times when we think we are in the spirit, and it is nothing more than our self-righteousness! How do we understand these questions, concerning these things of the holy! We are born into sin, our condition is beyond repair, how will God fix it? He must be the one to repair it! We can't. This would be a miracle, if all he had to do is snap his fingers! One thing I know, is I have a free will, How I use it depends on me!
Hi, The Holy Spirit in a believer (saved sinner) will provide peace by a lack of condemnation of inherited sin in one's soul. Questions five and six were/are part of my life.

Dear Fred,
The Holy Spirit is God the Father of the Lord Jesus Christ, the one true God ( John 17:3). You will know you have received the gift of the Holy Spirit when you speak in an unknown tongue and are filled with power to overcome sin by walking after the Spirit and not after the flesh.
As to the issue of sin and God fixing it, He sent His son to die for our sins. Peter preached the new testament gospel (as the NT didn't begin until the day of Pentecost) in Jerusalem to many of the same Jews that crucified Jesus. This Gospel is: Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. - Acts 2:38
Hallelujah! This is how one's (past) sins are remitted (in baptism, calling on the name of Jesus Christ and not the titles F,S&HS) and how one can receive power to live in victory over sin (receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost).
Andrew, amen amen. It truly is Acts 2:38. As we follow Christ w love.Even the Holy Spirit asked me to tell others about having the indwelling of his Spirit. Many ppl think they have it , & they really don't. We can not live for God in the flesh. The Holy spirit indwelling is a supernatural birth from above. I spoke in tongues too. Praising Jesus daily

Amen. Praise the Lord brother!
Just as brother Paul asked John's disciples @ Ephesus in Acts 19, "unto what were ye baptized?" When they said they had not even heard of the Holy Ghost for He had not yet been poured out during the time of John the Baptist. We need to tell as many professing Christians as we can. This is how Christian's confess Christ (to others) to be saved after baptism as per Romans 10: 9, it's not a one shot deal. Praise God!
Just to reply on one of your statements. As living proof(myself) you do not need to speak in "unknown tongues" to know you have received the Holy Ghost. The second detail, about receiving the Holy Ghost, you stated is much more accurate and important than the first about "unknown tongues". Helping us to repent from sins of the flesh and follow the Lord walking after the Spirit.
In Acts 2 you will see it is stated "other tongues" and the people who surrounded the building understood them speaking in "our own tongues"(or their own native language). Which means it was not "unknown" babble. Also in ( 1 Corinthians 12 as it just being a specific Gift of the Holy Ghost. That not everyone receives who has the Holy Ghost. Then in ( 1 Corinthians 14 it states if "there be no interpreter" to keep silent in the church with your "tongue" gift.
It just saddens me to see some people state that you have to speak in "tongues" to know you have the Holy Ghost which is a false teaching.
Not knowing if that is what you preach. Hopefully I will receive a reply and thank you for your time.

Greetings in Jesus' name, Richard,
In every instance when a Christian received the gift of the Holy Ghost after the New Testament began in the book of Acts (the first Church), it was always accompanied with speaking in another tongue (Samaritans: Acts 8:16-18 , Gentiles- Acts 10:46, Jews- Acts 19:1-6).
This is the proof or earnest (token) of a Christian's inheritance ( Ephesians 1:14).
This was prophesied by the prophet Isaiah
11 For with stammering lips and another tongue will he speak to this people.
12 To whom he said, This is the rest wherewith ye may cause the weary to rest; and this is the refreshing: yet they would not hear.
With all due respect, a Christian does not receive the gift of the Holy Ghost and is not sealed thereby the moment they believe as many lying pastors/theologians teach (along with other false doctrines like the "trinity" "once saved always saved" "purgatory" etc). Likewise a feeling of peace is not evidence you have received the Holy Ghost. While I do agree there are many that speak false tongues in emulation (primarily in the "Pentecostal/Apostolic" businesses), that does not invalidate the real thing.
May I ask you Richard (in Christ), have you been baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of your sins ( Gal. 3:27)?
To OTITW KJV. Just to clarify a couple of your references.
a. Isaiah 28:11,12: "For with stammering lips and another tongue will he speak to this people. To whom he said, This is the rest wherewith ye may cause the weary to rest; and this is the refreshing..." If you read this portion of Scripture, it has nothing to do with the experience of speaking in other tongues. It has to do with the Assyrian captivity, when Ephraim (one of Joseph's sons) is particularly mentioned who would go into captivity along with Israel, because of their many sins & wicked prophets & priests. Instead of hearing the Word of God through His prophets, they would receive the Word from those "with stammering lips & another tongue", i.e. another nation & another language, implying that the Word given would also be spoken in scorn & derision to God's people. This verse has nothing to do with the spiritual gift of Tongues.
b. the 'doctrine of the Trinity'. You would have a hard time to deny the Trinity, as it was not only believed by the apostles & the early Church ( John 17:5, Matthew 28:19, John 20:28, etc), but was also believed by the early Church fathers (i.e. those who were eminent men in the post-apostolic Church, after the apostle John). Names such as Ignatius ("For our God, Jesus the Christ, was conceived by Mary according to God's plan..."; "There is only one physician, who is both flesh and spirit, born and unborn, God in man, true life in death, both from Mary and from God, first subject to suffering and then beyond it, Jesus Christ our Lord."). And Polycarp ("Now may the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, and the eternal High Priest himself, the Son of God Jesus Christ, build you up in faith and truth...and to all those under heaven who will yet believe in our Lord and God Jesus Christ and in his Father who raised him from the dead."). And not to mention Justin Martyr, Irenaeus, Tertullian, Hippolytus, Origen, who all believed it. This is not an RC introduced belief.

Greetings in Jesus' name, Chris.
Please forgive me not replying sooner, but I didn't see you had addressed your message to me due to the abbreviation.
A.
So concerning Isaiah 28:11-12. If this is not prophesying of the Holy Ghost as you claim; then why does Paul quote it in 1st Corinthians when speaking about the Holy Ghost and speaking in tongues?
1 Corinthians 14:21-22
21 In the law it is written, With men of other tongues and other lips will I speak unto this people; and yet for all that will they not hear me, saith the Lord.
22 Wherefore tongues are for a sign, not to them that believe, but to them that believe not: but prophesying serveth not for them that believe not, but for them which believe.
Jesus himself said that those who believe will speak in other tongues: Mark 16:17
17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;
B.
As per your claim that the apostles believed in a "trinity" of gods, that is heresy. Every Jew (including Jesus) was taught from an early age on that there is only one God in reciting the Shema ( Deut. 6:4) Jesus quoted it in Mark 12:29:
And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The LORD our God is one LORD:
Paul (also raised as a devout Jew under Gamaliel) also understood this:
1 Timothy 2:5
5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;
1 God + 1 man (in whom God dwelt - 2 Cor 5:19) does not = 3 "gods".
Research the pagan trinity of babylon (Nimrod, Semiramis & Tammuz) and how Constantine united pagans and "christians" @ the same time he was slaughtering Christians because they were just growing stronger the more he had them killed.
Numbers 23:19
19 God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?
God did not become a man. God is a Spirit ( John 4:24).
Apologies about using the abbreviation - saving space.
Re: A. Indeed, Paul refers to Isaiah 28:11,12 though it has to be understood why he referenced it in 1 Corinthians 14:21. Ephraim was warned that because of their sins they would be carried into the Assyrian captivity where they would hear strange languages. This was a judgment against them: both the captivity & hearing God's Word in a language they didn't understand. So Paul uses that warning to Ephraim for the abuse of the Gift of other Tongues in the Corinthian Church. When the Gift ought to be used correctly (i.e. with interpretation) for the edifying of the Church, the Corinthians disregarded that & uttered in a manner that was unintelligible, resembling the confusion & nonsense that Ephraim was subjected to. So Isaiah's prophecy wasn't an authority for the future Gift of other Tongues but a warning to the Church to use the Gift correctly or else it would be of no use ( 1 Corinthians 14:7-11).
B: The Trinity. Whether of the 'Babylonian trinity' or 'Constantine's invention at the Council of Nicaea', I care little, since my appeal is to the Scriptures & I added the testimony of a couple of the early Church fathers. True, there is only one God & there is one Mediator between God & men, but we still have a problem when Scriptures reveal the Divinity of this Man Jesus. Even in John1:1-14, how can we disregard the Word of God, issued out of the Essence of God Himself, being sent forth into the World in a body of flesh. Is that impossible for God or could it be that our minds have difficulty in comprehending such a miracle? Also, could not God have provided another lamb (a special one-off creation & of complete purity) to be sacrificed for sinners? Why create a new sinless man for that purpose? Or, maybe it has something to do with the declaration of God's Love in the giving of Himself when no other sacrifice would be acceptable to Him. Philippians 2:5-11 is another compelling Scripture. Blessings to you.

Dear Chris,
A. Paul makes no reference to a warning about the Assyrian siege & hearing the word of God in other languages (the Assyrians were pagans, and the word of God was been only written in Hebrew).
Paul is showing forth that Isaiah's prophecy is showing that tongues are for a sign to them that believe not.
B. You say you appeal to the scriptures, yet cleave to doctrines of men such as Tertullian etc. Both Tertullian and Sabellius (originator of the oneness/modalism heresy) were theologians/witchdoctors & wolves crept in unawares.
There is no issue with the divinity of Christ. The deity of Christ is His Father: God.
2 Corinthians 5:19 (KJV) 19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation
God was in Christ.
It doesnt say God was Christ or Christ was God. It says Christ was/is the Son of God. Flesh and blood cannot reveal this to you.
This is the very definition of the word Christ: the annointed one.
He was annointed with the Holy Spirit of His Father @ his baptism by John in the Jordan river. Hallelujah!
That was when the Word (God) was made flesh.
He then began his 3.5 year ministry of miracles signs and wonders.
Furthermore as per the heretical doctrine of the "trinity": there are 3 "co-equal triune" deities.
Matthew 1:18 KJV
18 Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost.
So did Jesus have two Fathers?
"God the Holy Ghost" AND God the Father (the only true God)..???
I beseech you in the name of Jesus Christ to come away from the teachings of men & rome (MYSTERY BABYLON MOTHER OF HARLOTS) and all her "protestant" daughters, & read & believe the word of God AS IT IS WRITTEN.
This is your 2nd & final admonition.
I will pray for you, Chris, & I remain here for you in the gospel of Jesus Christ ( Acts 2:38)
Thank you Andrew for your response. And lest I suffer a further admonition, I submit the following (maybe in conclusion):
A. I can appreciate your understanding, where the example given by Paul of the Assyrian siege was to alert the Corinthians that the unknown tongue was given as a sign (to those that believe not), but it was also given as a condemnation to their improper use of the Gift, when an uninterpreted Tongue has no value in the Church & would be spoken as an unintelligible sound to all, as it was heard by Ephraim in captivity. And that was the whole point of 1 Corinthians 14.
B. I quoted the early Church fathers purely to show that the Trinity teaching didn't emanate from Constantine or others, but was believed right from the apostolic era.
That was interesting that you mentioned, "There is no issue with the divinity of Christ. The deity of Christ is His Father: God." Lest we're splitting hairs, are we not saying the same thing? That for Christ to be Divine, He would have his origins from within the Godhead? That the Trinity teaching speaks of One God from Whom emanates His Word & His Spirit - not three separate deities, but One God who is only One & manifests Himself in Three personalities. That any One of them cannot think, will or act independently or contrary to the other, since the Three are One (in Essence, in Purpose, in Mind).
I don't support the Oneness (Jesus Only) belief, which generally believe that Jesus is now only seen as God, having assumed the place of the Father & the Spirit.
That the "Word was made flesh", I believe was at His conception in Mary's womb & not at His baptism. And to state: 'Jesus had only one Father - God, from Whom Jesus, the Word, proceeded & was born of God to be made Man'. Jesus was eternally God's Word but chosen to be made flesh for our sakes. The point being: did Jesus come from within the Divine to be Man, or was He specially created by God & then infilled with the Divine at His Baptism? Blessings.
OnlytruthintheworldKJV - In Reply on Mark 3 - 3 years ago
No worries Chris,
You only get two admonitions.
God has a 2 strike law.
However, to answer your earnest questions..& to reiterate what the Scripture shows forth:
We aren't splitting hairs.
The deity of the man Christ Jesus is His Father (God). This does not make Him a separate god "of a triune co-equal triple god".
Where you and I differ is when you read the word Godhead: you understand it to be plural, when Godhead is a singular noun. In Spanish bibles it is written deidad; which simply means deity.
Likewise, when you read the word; Word in John 1:1 and 1:14 you understand it to mean: son or Christ.
Such is the beguilement of Rome and her sorcerers/TheoLOGIANs who have changed the meaning of words.
I certainly am no better than you, as I use to believe the same, until I was washed from those lies by the word of God.
When John 1:1 says: "and the Word was God."
I understand it as it is written, that the Word was God (the Father of the Lord Jesus Christ).
How did God create everything in Genesis 1? He spoke it into existence. The Son of God didn't fall out of His mouth.
1 John 5:7-8 KJV
7 For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.
8 And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one.
These verses are not speaking about a "trinity". Rather verse 7 is speaking about God the Father (who is the Word and the Holy Spirit). And verse 8 is speaking about the baptism of water and Spirit ( John 3:5) by which you have the blood covering. It is a blood covenant.
Finally I submit to you to meditate on these verses of Scripture:
1 John 5:20-21
20 And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.
21 Little children, keep yourselves from idols. Amen.
Your proclamations minimize Jesus Christ to a "host" accepting a parasite.
Before his 3.5 years of power, Jesus was sinless and errorless. The spirit was on him and in him always.
Too bad your attitude isn't displayed with any profession like sports where you can deduct talent from the talented. Teaching non-believers is difficult enough without saying Jesus was not God. Semantics is a double-edged sword, so be careful where you tread.
To re-state: I certainly don't believe in a "triune co-equal triple god". There is only One God from Whom goes His Word & His Spirit. And John 1:1 states that that Word was with God & was God. And then verse 14 states that the Word was made flesh. That Word has now been brought into the World as Jesus. So who is this Jesus? Even Colossians 1:15-19 tells us that Jesus (the Word) was involved in creation & now is the Head of the Body.
You said that 'God created everything in Genesis 1'. "He spoke it into existence. The Son of God didn't fall out of His mouth." Was Jesus the Son of God in creation? No. Only the Word of God was spoken in creation. But God chose to send forth His Word "in due time" clothed in flesh for the suffering of death. I know nothing of the "beguilement of Rome & her sorcerers", but the Scriptures reveal who Jesus is, "the Word of God made man". If this simple yet profound Truth can be made to mean something else, then I would have to query so much of the Bible that might have other such secret hidden meanings, making it altogether useless to me, leaving me floundering in confusion.
Even 1 John 5:7, "For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one." "Three, Three". Why is it even in there, if it were not important to reveal the three-fold Nature of the One God? And that to me (without the intrusion of the supposed trickery of Rome), is clear evidence of a Triune God: One God revealed in His Fullness: Father, Word & the Holy Spirit - all Three in operation for the salvation of mankind & no doubt, in the final judgement upon the World. Blessings.
The Conception Birth of Jesus - In Reply on Mark 3 - 3 years ago
Luke 1 details The Virgin Mary's firstborn, Jesus.
Matthew 1, details Mary's husband, Joseph, and his part in Jesus's coming into this world.
LUKE chapter 1
30 And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God.
31 And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS.
32 He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David:
33 And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end.
34 Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man? [Mary is still a virgin]
35 And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.
I agree that Jesus is as the bible and God himself declares that Jesus is the Son of God .
And even Jesus declared that God was and is his father .
The problem is that the spirit of truth only can understand this .
The spirit of error was very evident in the Roman Catholic Church . The trinity doctrine was the spirit of error that will never acknowledge the truth . It can not . Only those that have God dwelling in them can acknowledge Jesus as the Son of God . And not add to it more or take away from it .
1st John is loaded with who Jesus is . This subject has been on this web site before , but few of any things changed .
Jesus said continue in my word and the truth will set you free ! Amen
Thanks again Andrew ,i hope you will pop up here now and again ,there are one or two other things that i dont believe that lots of others seem to and i havent mentioned them ,yet ! Mostly i keep quiet because i know that people dont change their minds easily and im not a person who likes to get embroiled in long pointless arguements so mostly i say nothing and try to focus on the things we do have in common ,there are some things i do feel very stongly about and i know i wont be able to stay quiet for long , you have helped me to speak out about the fact that Jesus is not God and im so thankfull to you for that ,we are not alone ,there are a few others on here occasionally and most of my Christian friends know this ,stay strong and bold in the Truth ,you give courage to others ! May God bless you and bring you closer to Him every day through the mediation of our sinless High Priest in heaven ,Jesus Christ the Righteous .

Praise Jesus!
All glory and honor to His mighty saving name! O/!
Thanks for the encouragement.
Yea we must proclaim the truth in love.
Ezekiel 33:6 KJV
But if the watchman see the sword come, and blow not the trumpet, and the people be not warned; if the sword come, and take any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at the watchman's hand.
Jesus is returning to catch up a virgin chaste spotless bride of believers who are baptized in His name & filled with His Spirit. I pray that I will persevere to the end and can warn & lead as many others as the Lord wills into the fold.
For He is also returning:
"In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that (a.) know not God, and that (b.) obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:"
2 Thessalonians 1:8
If someone believes Jesus Christ the Son of God is a "pre-incarnate" "co-equal" deity of a "triune" triple God, then they (a.) don't know God ( Matthew 7:21-22).
And if they haven't been baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins ( Acts 2:38), then they (b.) haven't obeyed His gospel.
Hi Andrew ,nice to meet you ,thankyou for so succinctly expressing what i have wanted to for so long now ,no one will ever be able to convince me that Jesus i s God ,it honestly distresses me that people think this , to me this doctrine actually diminishes the awe inspiring life and death of Jesus ,for his sacrifice to be acceptable as a covering for our sinfulness then he has to be just like us ,human, possessing free will and the ability to sin ,he lived a similar life to all of us before his annointing of the Holy Spirit ,he may not have had children of his own but i belive he had younger siblings ,he may have helped raise them depending on when Joseph died ,he may have been the breadwinner and provider for his family ,he understood us as humans totally , he received the Spirit WITHOUT MEASURE but that doesnt mean he was actually God ,for every verse that anyone tries to point to to say that he was i can point to twenty verses to prove he was not God ,he was tempted GOD CANNOT BE TEMPTED , im going to stop now ,im sure ive caused enough trouble for one night and im not going to debate this with anyone so you can all reply to me and i will read them but i would much rather focus on the Truth that binds us and not get into endless arguements ,no one will change my mind and im sad to think i wont change anyones mind ,thanks Andrew .

Praise the Lord Jesus Christ our Passover Lamb for ever and ever!
Indeed Sasha, it truly is a blessing to encounter someone of like minded faith, that has come away from the beguilement of Rome and her sorcerers.
Be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. For we, of our own will cannot change anyone's mind. Only the Holy Ghost can. For one man sows, another waters, but God giveth the increase.
Of a truth, the doctrine of Christ is quite simple when you receive it, but only the one true God (the Father the Word and Holy Ghost) can reveal it unto babes.
This is why Jesus told Peter after he answered Jesus saying "Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God."
17 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.
Matthew 16:16-17
And avoid foolish questions and contentions as brother Paul instructed brother Titus in Titus 3:9-11 9 But avoid foolish questions, and genealogies, and contentions, and strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and vain.
10 A man that is an heretick after the first and second admonition reject;
We are just called to speak as the oracles of God sending His word out like a sonar wave, and depending on how people respond we either continue speaking or reject them and leave it between them and the Lord after the second warning.
Much Love to you, Sacha , in Jesus' name.
P.S. just to confirm we are brothers and fellow soldiers: you have been baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and have been filled with the Holy Ghost (as evidenced by speaking in an unknown tongue)?
OnlytruthintheworldKJV ,i am in fact a sister in Christ ,ive never memtioned that on this site before ,i have never spoken in tongues ,i hope you wont hold that against me ! I was baptized in 1996 .
As I'm sure you may have seen that Andrew has already rejected me and counted me a heretic. Do not let this man break your faith because you haven't spoken in "tongues". As he also tried to tell me I don't have the Holy Ghost because I don't speak in tongues. Which is false and he will find out one day.
Just as I stated to him It wouldn't surprise me that I was not the first child of God he rejected. Obviously not the last either.
The Lord bless you & strengthen your resolve brother Richard. You have stood your ground well basing your comments entirely on God's precious Word. May His Spirit both inspire & energize you as you consider other folk's comments & respond as "thus saith the LORD". With Christian love & special gratitude for your unshakeable faith.
Thank you very much for that touching comment. You just as I have proved stead fast and solid in our faith to the Lord. Your posting here is very important as you are very learned in the Scriptures. I am very thankful you came back at just the right time when you were needed here. Again, you are a very important member in the body of Christ. As I was waiting to see the reply you would received and if he would have rejected you as he did me. As we still may see.
All glory, praise, and thanks be to our Lord Jesus Christ and our Father in Heaven.
May the Lord pour His Blessings upon you. Peace be with you brother.
Hi Richard in Christ ,thanks so much for your thoughtfull message ,please dont worry about me ,i realise that some times we will agree with each other and some times we will disagree and thats ok ,i also believe that those very special Spirit gifts were given at that time to help the spread of the gospel just as i believe that the only thing we need in this time is that which has been provided for us by God ,His word in our Bibles ,this will bring us to Him , all will be crystal clear to us all when Christ returns ,which cant be soon enough can it ? ! I just wish we could disagree respectfully and without a contentious attitude ,if we could all do this we might learn a lot from each other ,i like to be provoked into thinking about things in a different way ,its how we learn ,may God continue to bless us all and bring us closer to each other and to Him .
Thank you for your humidity and longsuffering displaying fruit, something we get by being connected to the true vine,
That's confirmation to the onlookers that you are a believer in Christ
I also believe in gifts of the spirit but not as for confirming salvation,
Balaams donkey prophesied that don't mean he was saved.
Look at the contrast below in vs 20, fruit is confirmation to the onlookers but notice vs 22 and 23, The Lord didn't reject claim of prophesying. They were fruitless, never connected to the vine.
Matthew 7:20-23
20: Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.
21: Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
22: Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
23: And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
I believe in spiritual gifts but for edifying the body
I believe the gift of tongues has ceased,
Again Thank you for showing what being joined with Christ should look like.
Thank you for that kind reply. It seems we have the same mind as I enjoy to read and agree with your detailed posts. Just as you stated Matthew 7:20-23. I also brought that up in that it doesn't matter how much we prophecy, or cast out devils(speaking in tongues also) that is not what saves us. God searches hearts and knows His sheep.
As in another post of yours I also agree Jesus Christ pre-existed. Having Scripture that shows this. Thank you for all of your detailed posts. You also being connect to the true vine our Lord Jesus Christ.
Revelation 21:22-23 And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it.

Revelation 22:1-7 And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.
In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.
And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve Him:
And they shall see His face; and His name shall be in their foreheads.
And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever.
And He said unto me, These sayings are faithful and true: and the Lord God of the holy prophets sent His angel to shew unto His servants the things which must shortly be done.

(Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth?
He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things.)
And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;
For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:
Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:
That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and CARRIED ABOUT WITH EVERY WIND OF DOCTRINE, by the sleight of men, and CUNNING CRAFTINESS, WHEREBY THEY LIE IN WAIT TO DECEIVE;
But speaking the TRUTH IN LOVE, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:
John 14:6-7. Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth,
""If the messengers don't display the truth, Christ is not in him and we don't follow his teachings, because we being Jesus sheep don't hear Jesus voice, MY SHEEP HEAR MY VOICE!
S. Spencer , you have rebuked me and i take it on the chin and thankyou for it ,please ,can you or any one else who belives that Jesus is actually God explain mark ch 13 v 32 and Genesis ch 22 to me ,as for me being ,i guess confrontational ,all of you must know what it feels like to passionately believe something and want everyone else to see it too ,i truely believe that Jesus is not God ,Jesus recieved the Holy Spirit without measure but that doesnt make him God ,no one has told me that Jesus is not God ,it seems very obvious to me ,i know lots of others who believe this also ,i may be in the minority on this site but i can live with that ,i know for sure that God is very merciful and i pray that He will continue to be so to all of us and that He grants us all the best blessings soon ,the complete end to all humans ruling over other humans and His Kingdom filling this His earth from end to end and forever ,may we all meet in person in Christ in those very best days .
Hi Sacha, By any chance did you read any of my first three posts this morning? It was actually Genesis chapter 22 that inspired these posts. Anyway I hope it is cheery your way today when you look out of the flat! Windy here!!!
Sacha, it is a pleasure to hear words of a pure heart. There are verses that can be used out of context to complicate the simplicity of Christ. Here is one that cannot be perverted or twisted. No debate hear stand strong in the truth.
John.14:28 Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I.
As I agree with you there are many false teachers/doctrines out in the world today. The only one I feel is not false, although can be taken out of context like anything, is the trinity. Only meaning the Father, the Word, and Holy Ghost are one. Tri(three) +unity(joined/one)= the word trinity. Which I believe.
Let's stay on track with what we began to discuss though. Being "tongues" is needed to prove, or show, you have the Holy Ghost? If this is off please correct me.
Your question of "have I been baptized in the name of Jesus Christ" is yes.
Amen.
Amen.
I'm here for you if you have any questions.
Sincerely,
Andrew
God Bless.
Sincerely,
Andrew
17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;
5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;
Be well.
Blessings.
Amen.
Sincerely,
Andrew
Blessings.
God was Jesus father , Mary his mother . Believe it or not that's the confirmed truth of the bible .
Amen
Be encouraged Sacha.
Be well, in Jesus' name.
I'm joyful to know that my messages have blessed you. Glory to God.
If I can serve you in any way in the gospel and/or doctrine of Jesus Christ don't hesitate to let me know.
Be well, in Jesus' mighty saving name,
Andrew
10 A man that is an heretick after the first and second admonition reject;
As I'm sure you may have seen that Andrew has already rejected me and counted me a heretic. Do not let this man break your faith because you haven't spoken in "tongues". As he also tried to tell me I don't have the Holy Ghost because I don't speak in tongues. Which is false and he will find out one day.
Just as I stated to him It wouldn't surprise me that I was not the first child of God he rejected. Obviously not the last either.
God Bless you.
And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof.
Behold, I come quickly: blessed is he that keepeth the sayings of the prophecy of this book.
God has given us his inspired scripture, and he has given us servants to carry out his Message, ""Messengers" these Messengers are gifts and he also given the messengers gifts.
Ephesians 4:1-15. I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called,

Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of PEACE.
There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;
One Lord, one faith, one baptism,
One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.
But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ.
Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men.

He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things.)
And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;
For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:

That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and CARRIED ABOUT WITH EVERY WIND OF DOCTRINE, by the sleight of men, and CUNNING CRAFTINESS, WHEREBY THEY LIE IN WAIT TO DECEIVE;

Why did not God say Jesus is me ?
And why did Jesus not say I'm God ?
The answer is that would be a lie . God does not lie .
John.14:28 Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I.
Peace to you and your family, Ron
As I agree with you there are many false teachers/doctrines out in the world today. The only one I feel is not false, although can be taken out of context like anything, is the trinity. Only meaning the Father, the Word, and Holy Ghost are one. Tri(three) +unity(joined/one)= the word trinity. Which I believe.
Let's stay on track with what we began to discuss though. Being "tongues" is needed to prove, or show, you have the Holy Ghost? If this is off please correct me.
Your question of "have I been baptized in the name of Jesus Christ" is yes.
Thank you. God Bless.
