What is the motive for this campaign to discredit Jesus's divinity? Why do you celebrate when you feel you have delivered your case? Does this actually come from God, or does it actually come from the great deceiver?

Some of these comments even have a sense of pride- as if demeaning Jesus is an accomplishment to be proud of. Whomever is behind this campaign seems quite closed off to just normal, non-distorted interpreations of the Word.

Shame on you and everyone who is attacking and trying to discredit the Bible and demean Jesus. I find these posts disturbing and even sickening to think that Christians are giving into a lie so easily without question. But the truth will always expose the lie. Jesus is Lord and Jesus is divine and Jesus is the Son and Jesus is one with the Father and Holy Spirit, Jesus is the I AM, Jesus is God just as the Bible says.

    Exodus 3.14 ,15

God the Father says this is His name for ever I AM THAT IAM .

No one not even Jesus has this name .

There is only 1 IAM , and Jesus is his Son .

    Amen!

    Deuteronomy 18:18

    King James Version

18 I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him.

    Jesus spoke his Father's word.

    The Father spoke through him.

The Father is the one that doeth the works. Who is the Father? The Holy Spirit ( John 4:24, Leviticus 11:44)

Blessed be the name of the Lord!

In Matthew 16:13, Jesus asks the question, "Whom do men say that I the Son of man am? He's asking for public opinion because, in Verse 13, the disciples answered and said that some say that thou art John the Baptist: some, Elias; and others, Jeremias, or one of the prophets.

So the disciples gave the public opinion. You see, almost everyone has an opinion about who Jesus is. But Jesus asks another question in Matthew 16:15. He asks "But whom say ye that I am?"

The first question is public opinion. And then Jesus gets down to the "nitty-gritty." He gets down to the personal question. He says unto them, but who do you say that I am? That's the public opinion. Now, I want to know who you say that I am?

Notice Peter's confession in Verse 16: Simon Peter answered and said "Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.

There are two parts to this confession. And this is very important. The first part says "Thou art the Christ," HO CHRISTOS, the Christ. Christ is the translation of the Greek word that is the same as the Hebrew word for Messiah, MASHIACH, and it means the anointing.

The Jews believed that when Messiah came, He would be the anointing of God in human form. And that's who He is. Peter says "Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God."

Here's something else that is very important. If you ever care to look up that phrase, "Son of the living God," not from a religious standpoint, but just look up the phrase itself from a Hebrew standpoint, you will find out that is the phrase that is used for God.

So when he said "The Son of the living God," that is a title of God to the Jews. So, what Peter was confessing was you are the Messiah, and you are God. Wow, what a Confession!

    Amen.

    Ephesians 4:5-7

5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism,

6 One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.

7 But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ.

    1 Timothy 2:5

    King James Version

    5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;

    1 Corinthians 8:6

But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him.

    1 Corinthians 1:3 KJV

Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.
