My question. When Jesus died did he go to the Heavenly mercy seat to give His blood or direct to the right hand of God?

If He did how and why?

Richard, you are HEAVEN where THE SPIRIT OF THE FATHER DWELLS and CHRIST sits at his right hand. You are the ARK OF THE COVENANT because he is, you are the the HOLY OF HOLY because he is, you are THE GOLDEN VESSEL ON THE TABLE OF THE SANCTUARY because he is. Zachariah 14:21-22 In that day (day of the Lord, CHRIST IN YOU) shall there be bells of the horses (bells were on the priest's garments to enter into the HOLY OF HOLY), HOLINESS UNTO THE LORD; and the pots in the LORD'S house shall be like the bowls before the alter.

We are the TEMPLE OF GOD, the HOLY OF HOLY (Christ in you) is now in us along with the TRUE MERCY SEAT (HIS blood now covering us) The old was a shadow of the HEAVENLY. We are the HEAVEN OF HEAVENS. JESUS IS THE TEMPLE we have become ONE TEMPLE.

Revelation 21:1 ....new heaven and a new earth.... God's hew home (TRUE HEAVEN) with a body now longer made of the dust of earth; but of THE GLORY OF CHRIST.

1 Kings 8:27 But will God indeed DWELL ON EARTH (the shadow was the tent in the wilderness; afterwards Solomon's temple)? behold, the heaven (old) and the HEAVEN OF HEAVENS (new) cannot contain THEE. How much less the house I have builded? God is INDEED DWELLING ON EARTH; but now in the NEW.

Hello Earl, sounds good, but where is the repentance and remission of sins in this faith?

Carleton, the question wasn't about repentance and remission of sins; but about the mercy seat.

Hello Earl, Sorry I should have looked. The Mercy Seat is where we want to be, no matter what and no matter the cost to our selves and as you said, it is available for us now.

My question a few days ago: I have heard some say that when Jesus died and went into Heaven He swiped His hand across the mercy seat as Aaron did with animal blood. Did Jesus present himself before the mercy seat in Heaven because the earthly was a symbol of Heavenly and now shedding His own blood, Jesus is the mercy seat?

Hello Richard, Some thoughts. The Mercy Seat was not just above the Law preserved in the Ark but the light of the Gospel by the death and resurrection of our Lord, Jesus Christ shines through the perfectly thin gold. His blood bought Life is the Mercy Seat and covers, but not darkens the Law which was provided by the Father. It is at this Mercy Seat, how can we know it, how can we know Jesus? We must by Faith have grace to enter in through the veil and place ourselves at the Lord Jesus's feet and repent of our sins and turn away from them by grace in faith, forever. Then we will be common with all who know Him and His forgiveness will blot out our death sentence by the law.

This response just blessed my heart. Obedience is better than sacrifice. The Lord is not slack when it comes to His Word or His promise. His Word will accomplish that which it is sent forth to do.

Keep the faith brother Evangelist. Obedience is a reasonable service for His sacrifice. Thank you for your reply.

Hi Richard, I believe there may be people who have put off the Mercy Seat until a later time in Heaven. Jesus spoke of the Jews, that he would have gathered them now, but they would not. I believe how he spoke then would apply to anyone who puts off His covering and blood bought Mercy Seat until another day. Perhaps by your question that seems to linger, you or someone you know is feeling the pull to know the True High Priest in this present body, which is His temple.
