I would appreciate your prayers for me, that the Lord would help me show to all meekness unto all men, like it says to do in Titus 3 - I struggle to do that, especially toward my mom, which is not honoring her, and it's sin.
I also battle with idolatry, especially the temptation to overindulge in video games - by God's grace, I've stayed away from video games for over a year and a half (praise God), but the temptation to play a "little" is there, which almost always has turned into overindulgence and idolatry - and the temptation seems to be growing more and more. I think if the Lord gave me clarity, to see things the way He wants me to, and to love the things He loves, and hate the things He hates, it would greatly help.
Praise the Lord Joshua, Be encouraged and know that Jesus Christ loves you and ask God for clarity and help and he will do just that, he helped me and can help you as well because Romans 2:11 For there is no respect of persons with God.
Psalms 32:8 I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.
John 16:13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.

Yes, Joshua, It is amazing ( grace) that you have honored God's authority in putting video games behind you. Of course, the devil is relentless, and would try to lure you back, especially in these days that are so needed to be close to God.
Always go back to the cross. therein lies our victory. Knowing Jesus died specifically and personally for you to overcome any sin of idolatry...he knew before you were born you would have problem with this. He shed His blood but then rose triumphant to free us from any strongholds of enemy and self indulgence. God bless you with great victory that is already won for you. no striving, just faith in Him...... You have a beautiful name. one of the only 2 of all Israel to went into the promise land, knowing the giants were promised defeat.
