Romans 8:3 For what the law COULD NOT DO, in that it was weak in the flesh, God sending his own Son, in the LIKENESS OF SINFUL FLESH, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:
Christ; the Spirit of GOD was made in the likeness of US (sinful flesh); therefore, sinful flesh (US) was CRUCIFIED on the CROSS WITH CHRIST. Christ rose AGAIN; therefore, we also arose with him, now in LIKENESS OF CHRIST.
John 8:51 Verily, verily, I say unto you, if a man keep my saying, he shall NEVER SEE DEATH.
Revelation 20:6 Blessed and holy is he who hath part in the FIRST RESURRECTION .......
You DIED and now LIVE IN CHRIST AND CHRIST IN YOU; you will never die again, you will just CHANGE BODIES.
I don't think you have to believe in the rapture or no other eschatology event.
Just believe in that what's written to be true. Believe in the gospel and build a personal relationship with the Lord. Go to him in faith and he will answer all questions in his time.
And it don't matter what religion you come out of, We all have been saved from something. "mostly self". God is faithful and stay in his word.
James 1:5-6. If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.
