The abomination of desolation has nothing to do with the beast in Revelation? WHAT? That's his signature move, he destroys Babylon, he tells the world who he is on that day. Did you ever read about it? ( Isaiah 13)( Isaiah 47)( Revelation 18).
Allow the Bible to define itself for you; you'll have a better understanding of the big picture inside a bigger picture.
The interpretation of the 7 years, last week placed at the end times was what I was discussing. Where after the first 3.5 years of peace the antichrist does the abomination of desolation and causes sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and the great tribulation starts, taken from ( Daniel 9:27). Also used is, ( Matthew 24:15) and ( Mark 13:14) which combines (2 Thessalonian 2:4) as being in the middle of this 7-year interpretation using these Bible verses, which I feel is deceptive. That is what I meant, the abomination of desolation in this theory does not have anything to do with Revelation.
Babylon/Babel will be destroyed by the ten kingdoms/countries that hate the whore, who have never had power until the beast from the bottomless pit, gives them power as kings one hour with this beast. We do see in Rev. 11 the beast kills the two witnesses and that city is where our Lord was crucified and we know where that was. ( Revelation 11:8)
The destruction of this whore Babylon/Babel where ever it will be, will be destroyed close to the second coming of Jesus Christ. After it is destroyed it becomes the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird (fallen angels, and demon haven) "What have we to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of God? art thou come hither to torment us before the time?" at this time their time is up and into the lake they go. ( Revelation 19:11-21) "the supper of the great God"
If you believe in the rapture of the Church and this seven-year interpretation and all that is taught in it we may not agree. We need just to encourage each other in our faith in Jesus and our walk in the Spirit of truth.
