Will I be able to go to Heaven even if I am thinking disgusting thoughts about The Lord God Almighty?...I am a Christian woman...These thoughts could come in to my mind from just watching or reading about GOD...It is destroying me I am so very scared of what will happen to me when I die?....I always rebuke the thoughts but they still form in my mind...I am so unhappy because of the thoughts that come in to my mind

Mary, I am praying for you Sister. God is faithful to deliver. The battle is not ours

but the LORD's. Be at peace..... I have gone through this too. One thing I have

done during the worst attacks is to say over and over, "JESUS SAVES ME NOW."

It is a powerful declaration. Devils flee in all directions, and God is glorified.

    Many Blessings....

Mary, you are not by yourself because the same thing happens to me but it is mostly doubt about God and I think it is the Devil getting into your head so I ask God to please get him out of my head because I do not want to think that way! I wish I could help you because I know how it feels. One thing I do is think about this earth and all the different life forms and the sun which had burned since the day it was created and never ever needed any fuel! How many things that burn do not ever need fuel? This world we live in did not just happen and evolve from nothing it was created and God created it!! I wish you all the luck with your problem!!

You're a believer and that is why you have the struggle. This happens to believers. Keep your mind on good things. Know your soul and spirit are not the same, Hebrews 4:12

just don't speak the thoughts. speak good.

Mary, you're under attack. This will help stop that. Mishael

    Matthew 12; Ephesians 6

43 When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man/woman, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest, and findeth none.

44 Then he saith, I will return into my house (your body) from whence I came out; and when he is come, he findeth it EMPTY, swept, and garnished.

45 Then goeth he, and taketh with himself seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter in and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first. Even so shall it be also unto this wicked generation.

    Ephesians 6

If we do not fill our spiritual house, with the Bible; we will have spiritual warfare. Which as you see in Ephesians 6, "they" are invisible. They don't want to wander around without bodies. The unsaved, the wicked or the unlearned of the wisdom of the Bible, can be attacked.

"They are identified by their Fruit: hindering, harassing, sicknesses, depression, violence, sexual impurities, cursing, occult fascinations, hatred of Jesus, or antichrist spirits.

We must be filled with the Holy Spirit. You must rely on the victory of Jesus over the devil. We must understand the power of Jesus's Blood atonement for sin.

We need to be learning what our Authority in Jesus Name is. Authority of the believer over demonic beings; how to bind them and cast them out. How to pray for the sick and those oppressed by Satan and his agents of suffering. How to keep our families covered in prayer.

Take a good look at the madness of the world we're living in. Do you see the fruits now?

    1 Peter 5:8

Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:

    M. Turn off the tv and stay in the New Testament and observe HOW Jesus fought off Satan's attacks; Paul & disciples too. Tell others how to be free.

Being carnal, is an open invitation spiritual harassment; pollution.

    Mary,

I would like to comfort you by telling you that if you are born of God's Spirit, you will one day go to be with Him. That is a guarantee. Every person who has been born of God's Spirit (Received Christ) has been sealed by His Spirit until the day He comes to redeem His purchased possession ( 1 Peter 1:5).

Your salvation is not based on your thoughts but on the keeping power of God. If you belong to Christ, you are being kept by His power alone. None of us can keep ourselves saved.

The apostle Paul fought for the believer's mind. If you read 2 Corinthians 10:4-6, you notice this is the "pulling down" of everything that exalts itself against the knowledge of God. Any kind of spiritual experience that a person has or personal revelation that a person has which exalts itself against the knowledge of God, when you say that can't be true, or that can't be God, because look at what God's word says?

But most importantly, that last line, "taking captive every thought into the obedience of Christ."

Do you realize that after receiving Christ, the great battle that goes on is for your mind? Satan cannot take your soul but he wants to keep your mind from growing in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ.

That is where all of our struggles take place as believers, in the mind. Satan wrestles with us and he tries to keep us distracted and keep us away from God's word because that is how we grow.

We learn and we grow in Christ through His word. That is why Paul said this six times in his letters, "I would not have you to be ignorant brothers."

Remember what God said in the Old Testament? His people perished because of what? A lack of knowledge! God says, I inspired the Book. I inspired my truth for you to know it. I even put it in book form so you human beings can read it.

Reach out to the Lord in prayer and ask Him to transform and renew your mind. ( Romans 12:2)

    Hi Mary,

It's good that you are seeking council on this. I'm not sure what disgusting thoughts you have, but I can say that such thoughts are likely based on false assumptions. Are you ready for those thoughts to be exposed and scrutinized in the bright light? I'm sure you can delicately share them here one by one and receive feedback from other believers if you'd like.

I don't want to make any guesses as to the thoughts, but for those who follow the media and believe what they see/hear on TV, I can say there are several very key false assumptions about Christianity I've heard repeated, designed to discredit Christians and God, which are 100% false. Most things you see on TV lately I believe are lies. Satan loves using them for his purposes.

God is a loving and forgiving God who made us and gave us an opportunity to spent eternity with Him in an amazing place. God's love makes it amazing. The Bible's overall theme is love: to love God and love others.
