Hello - I am in need of prayer & the Holy Spirit's guidance re: a horrible employment situation. Im very close to signing a contract for 3 mo. of work, but my recruiter has been dishonest, unsupportive, & dismissive of concernsI have about the position. Now the facility I'm to work at is requesting a change in job duties that wasnt initially agreed upon, duties I feel I wont be able to perform successfully. Ive asked to speak directly w/the manager about the changes so we both can hear directlyeach others concerns/questions. The recruiter & her boss were dismissive of my request. I donttrust the info they are feeding me & I dont trust them to relay my concerns correctly back to the manager. I need an advocate in this situation & I am praying God can be that. Please give me guidanceon whether I should look for another job or stay with this one. I am running out of money as well & I dont know what to do.

Hello Lisa, I'd pray and prepare. For preparing I'd write a letter about the facts (not feelings) and would give that to both employer and recruiter. I would also show employer the contract you signed showing the job requirements. I would keep your talking about concerns to a minimum, to not sound whiny, because no one wants an uncooperative or demanding employee, but just keep it brief and put the ball in their court. Decide in advance what it would take for you to keep employed and what you'd do in each scenario, that way if they offer you an alternative you're not as surprised and don't need time to think about it. God bless...

    Do both.
