    The Holy Spirit has been changing my personality, I'm much more given to laughter

    and lightheartedness.

    Even so, the things that many people in the world find funny, I don't find funny at all.

    The Spirit's laughter is more is like a stream rising up in me, a joy and mirth, and the even

    the raucous laughter of worldly people doesn't make me more rough. I laugh too, because I'm

    drawn to happiness. But it's strange, because the Lord has also made me VERY sensitive to

    the suffering of people, animals, and all living things. I live where there are a lot of dairies, and

    driving by the barn where cows are kept in darkness 24/7, 12 months a year.... my heart breaks.

    I don't mind my heart breaking, it only leads me to prayer. For the reason of this sensitivity I seem

    to be in prayer 24/7. What a gift!

    Yeah, iinside, in the place where I used to be depressed, I feel only joy. That is so amazing. What

    an incredible deliverance He is pulling off in me!! Praise You Lord.

    But I am wondering why there is almost no mention of laughter or humour in scripture? When I put the

    question to God, I feel only his joyful, mirthful smile rise up, and huge silence.

    Ecclesiastes 3:v.1-8 and 17

    1 To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:

    2 A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;

    3 A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;

    4 A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;

    5 A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;

    6 A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away;

    7 A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;

    8 A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.

    17 God shall Judge the righteous and the wicked: for there is a time there for every purpose and for every work.
