GOD CLASSIFIES THE WORKS OF BELIEVERS SIX AREAS: GOLD, SILVER, and PRECIOUS STONE are worthy objects which will survive the Judgment fires. WOOD, HAY, and STUMBLE are destructible and worthy objects which will not survive the Judgment fires. Verse 3:10 “Let every man take heed of what he builds thereupon.” The Judgment fires of God shall try every work. I want to be found building a structure that is going to stand refining fires of the almighty God. If you place a solid gold bar in the fire it will melt, and if you pour it back into a mold it will come out a solid bar of gold again. You can grind a diamond to powder, and it is still worth something. Verse 12 “If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward.” Verse 15 “If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss, but he himself shall be saved.” There is going to be tears at the Judgment seat of Christ; Fear and trembling. Not everyone who goes there is going to receive a reward. Some will be stripped of the rewards they thought they had. If our works do not stand the judgment fires of God, we will still have eternal life but the crowns and the rewards will be lost.
