1 Thessalonians 4:17

"Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord."

It seems clear what it means to me. Some posting here seem upset about this verse for whatever reason.

Adam, I think with all the country fires, continent floods, volcano eruptions in the Philippines. 9.9 and 7.1 earthquakes, plus a major dam destroyed in the aftermath (deadly flooding IN CHINA; in populated areas.... Russia is burning up. The USA is burning up and flooding. Europe.

People may come in here and not need to see arguments about THE RAPTURE. They're going to want to know how to be SAVED. :)

How about we brush up on how to explain The Birth Pains? Starts off manageable. Transition.

Look at YouTube today! Search disasters. Look at the dates. People are hurting! Their homes are gone. I myself had a fire and lost everything in 2000. Starting over is scary.

Maybe we should find the scriptures to explain what's happening; lead a lost person in a prayer...IN HERE.

We are in the seventh and last millednnium, or seventh and last Day, one Day with the LORD is as a thousand years, so there will be ONLY and ONLY SEVERE PUNISHMENTS day by day in this current time, and it until the END of the Devil's World. Luke 21:v.25-27 reveals: ALL THE NATIONS will have extreme or unbearable anguishes.

As is written, "upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity;the sea(the peoples,and nations,and multitudes of all tongues)and the waves roaring;26 Men's hearts failing them for fear,and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth".

Severe plagues/severe punishments will be applied to DESTROY them which destroy the earth-Rev.11:18, but the KINGDOM of GOD will be established-verse 15.

The LORD is at door.

The worst will be this:The door of salvation is being and will be shut by complete,day by day,while the Devil's world is SEVERELY PUNISHED,and there will be a TRIBULATION as never was before,but never.It is the END of this GIGANTIC world of the Devil,built by him.

Yeah,the worst will be this:the door of salvation is already starting to close day by day,slowly. Luke 13:24-28:

I am an Evangelist. I see lambs, sheep, wolves, hirelings and those called to be shepherds.

I'm just going to leave it at that and ask God to raise up more shepherds who care for the Sheep. To guide, in one accord, all those who want to know what the Caught Up is, and how to be a participant in that?

Adam, we are closer than ever before in history, to completion of some big prophesies. One being, the flood of false prophets and false teachers. Our only security is the Holy Spirit. ASK the Holy Spirit for His Gifts; like Spiritual Discernment. He wants to equip us with the best gifts.

1 Corinthians 12-14. From here on forward, there will be many voices speaking.

Our focus is to "load the Ark", which is The Person of Jesus. That's His will. The Harvest is white, which means that if we don't do it now, it will rot. These are the days of Noah and Jonah: the populace was marrying, feasting and laughing at Gods warnings.

We have to push past that opposition. Romans 1 clearly says that people who refuse to acknowledge a Divine Creator, ARE WITHOUT EXCUSE. There is a Harvest still ready to get in the ARK. The Church of Jesus Christ must pray to the Lord of The Harvest.

Rather than play games of "badminton " with God's Holy Scriptures. We need to respond to those who come in here with questions on How To Be Saved? God will send the lost into This Forum, only as we respond to, "what must I do to be saved?" Questions. The Prayer Room is gone because no one was praying with them.

We need to do what we see the Holy Spirit doing. His push is Evangelism. He's looking for people who know HOW to pray for, and lead people to Receive Salvation.

When they daily observe these "badminton games", they're just going to go away empty handed. Whatever the subject of today, it's like a big "pile on", to see who knows the most.

I would rather see this Website function evangelistically.... before the Lord pronounces it, ICABOD. There is a good word search. What does ICABOD mean?

We are the workers of the HARVEST. Is there anyone open to that concept?

If God sends the baby lambs or lost sheep in here; is there any arms to carry? Any shepherds to lead them? WE LEAD only as they FOLLOW THE SHEPHERD, JESUS CHRIST.

To be frank I don't completely understand your comment or how that relates to 1 Thessalonians 4:17. It reads as if you're possibly responding to someone else's comment or maybe a different thread or possibly trying to reprimand for something you read somewhere else?

Within is stated you want to focus on helping people become Christians- that's a great pursuit- have you been doing that yourself? You mentioned a prayer room being gone and I don't quite understand that either- do you mean the section on this website for prayer requests? If so, that's still there.

JOHN 4:35-37

35 ... Behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to HARVEST.

36 And he that reapeth receiveth wages, and gathereth fruit unto LIFE ETERNAL: that both he that soweth and he that reapeth may rejoice together.

37 And herein is that saying true, One soweth (JESUS), and another reapeth..(the reapers)

Matthew 13:v.37-43

He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man;

38 The field is the WORLD (the Devil's world); the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the Devil.

39 The enemy that sowed them is the Devil(the Devil and his messengers); the Harvest is the END of the WORLD(this event will happen, will fulfil LITERALLY, in the current time); and the reapers are the angels(messengers).

40 As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in this END of this world.

41 The Son of man shall send forth his angels(messengers), and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity;

42 And shall cast them into a Furnace of Fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.

43 Then - only then- shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.

Why is it when the elect (2 witnesses) are called up to heaven ( Revelation 11:12) do we next see the one hundred forty four thousand standing with Christ, and the 144k standing in front of the alter? ( Revelation 14) Why is there never any mention of the resurrected other than the 144K? Look at the qualifications to be a firstfruit; do you know someone like that? Faithing and hoping won't make it so. I think Paul was speaking about the saints. It clearly is a confusing piece of scripture, a necessary evil.

I have an idea, why not have one resurrection? Let's lobby God for what we want, and then take more.

Tommy, I'm not sure if you are discounting and not believing in 1 Thessalonians 4:17 based on what you interpret from Revelations or not. If so, I do the opposite, because 1 Thessalonians 4:17 isn't symbolism and from isn't a vision, but Revelations is. I don't know what you mean by 'necessary evil' and don't know what you mean by 'lobby God for what we want, then take more'- do you mean people to heaven? I don't believe 144k is a limit of people who go, I believe it's symbolic of something else and I have an idea, but don't wish to speculate at this time. God already has a huge allowance for grace for those who get in.

I'm saying that ( 1 Thessalonians 4:17) is for the elect 144K only, no one else is worthy.

( Revelation 20:5) is all that's left. God offers everlasting life and you want to dictate your way past the saints, as if you are on their level? Everything has an order, a time and a place.

Ok, thanks for clarifying. I see those 2 verses as disconnected and unrelated. I don't believe only 144k will be caught in the air, but many more- all who were genuine Jesus followers. All the genuine Jesus-following Christians in the grave now far surpass that number. All are sinners on earth: Romans 3:10 needing grace. Revelation is highly symbolic and there are mysteries not yet revealed to us and I think Revelation would be completely understood until the afterlife. If salvation was only for 144k then that number would have been maxed out long ago. What then would be the point of being a Christian and spreading the gospel if no one could be saved? For those reasons and many others not stated I don't believe the symbolism in Revelation means only 144k are saved. God bless...

The Lord is awesome for offering me life after living through this beauty pagent. I look forward to the 2nd resurrection, and since I'm so tired, sleeping for a thousand years doesn't seem so bad.

Tell me you understand that the world has to go through anti-christ's 42 months of rule before reaching the end. You make it sound like Jesus will come at any moment, and that's just not the case. Congratulations if your seventh trumpet vision has you atop Mount Olives with Jesus and the other 143,999 saints.
