I would like to share this with you, take it or leave it. But it seems like we are being persecuted and attacked more and more these days, not just here, but in general. What comes to mind is Saul's life prior to the Lord calling him. He persecuted believers relentlessly. In Acts chapter 9, it tells us that while he was traveling to Damascus, this light and voice came down from heaven, causing him to fall to the ground. The voice said to him, "Saul, Saul, why persecutes though me?
What in the world is that all about? I mean Saul was persecuting believers, not Jesus. But Jesus said "Why are you persecuting me?" Saul says, who are you, Lord? Saul knows he is experiencing divine intervention but he doesn't know who He is. He says, Lord, who are you? And the Lord says I am Jesus whom you are persecuting.
In the Greek text, there's emphasis in both places. He says "I myself am Jesus, and you yourself are persecuting me." You are directly persecuting me. You are responding to me in my people. And then Jesus told Saul it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks. The Greek word for "pricks" means both a cattle prod and a bee sting. Saul knew what it meant, and it made him madder. What would make him so mad? I can see him being mad enough to chase the Christians out of Jerusalem, but to travel 135 miles to Damascus on foot just to round up believers and bring them back to Jerusalem bound, that's seems like borderline obsession.
So the Lord says I myself am Jesus whom you yourself are persecuting. It is hard for you to kick against the prods, and He's telling him that's what it's like to get stung by a bee, every time you come across a Christian, and that sting just irritates you, and you just want to "rub them out." It brings things into perspective when we are the ones being persecuted, but Jesus says it is Him they are persecuting. Why? Because they are not attacking us, they are attacking Christ who is in us!
Jesse Nice sharing I've learned never take it personal we don't wrestle against flesh and blood. Years ago I was in construction and working with guy who was absolutely mean and always angry. One day I had to work with him for a few hours I ask him can I help with anything he turned to me in a dead angry stare and said go away I hate your father and leave me alone, he never met my physical father, at that time took me an hour to understand what happened. It is a spiritual battle.
Wow! It is true that everyone has some sort of response to God's Spirit. Sometimes we don't even have to say anything or do anything to cause another person to react.
Bro. there are many times when just our presents changes everything around us, something to think about we are Gods Holy chosen, in the old testament God told moses to take off sandals at the bush because he was standing on Holy ground, every place a believer is present is now Holy due to Gift in Us. God Bless

Part 2.
Wiles of the Devil.
THE GOSPEL IS WHAT SAVES!! That's where you start, spiritual growth comes afterward as you feed on the word, providing that the word you received is truth and you believe it. Your viewpoints should be shaped in this transaction. Spiritual fruit, unity, and gifts comes alone in the process. ALL WRAPPED IN LOVED. Unless you are a reprobate. 2 Corinthians 13:5.
THERE IS THE KEY!
1 JOHN 3:10. In this the children of God are "MANIFEST", and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, NEITHER HE THAT LOVETH NOT HIS BROTHER.
IF YOU DONT CHRIST IS NOT IN YOU!
1 Corinthians 3:23-24. And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment.
And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us.
KEEP IN MIND THIS POST IS TO EXAMINE OURSELVES. MARK THOSE WHO ARE AGAINST THE FAITH, AND NOT ASSIST SATAN IN HIS WILES. BY MEASURING THE LOVE BETWEEN ONEANOTHER.
1 John 2:19. They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, THAT THEY MIGHT BE MADE MANIFEST THAT THEY WERE NOT ALL OF US.
Some persecute directly, some indirectly, SOME BEFRIEND EVERY PERSECUTER COME ON THE SITE!
John 15:17-20. These things I command you, that ye love one another.
If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you.
If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.
Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also.

Hi brother Jesse.
Part 1.
If you don't mind I would like to add to the timely comment you posted.
"So the Lord says I myself am Jesus whom you yourself are persecuting. When Saul was accused by Jesus of persecuting Him, I think we need to be certain we are not doing the same and/or get drawn in to this organized scheme of Satan.
Ephesians 6:11-12. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the "wiles of the devil."
For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
Here is my point.
What was Saul on his way to do while he was on his way to Damascus? He was going to stop the spread of the Gospel!!
A message that is the accomplished by the cornerstone of our faith. ( Jesus Christ.). A truth important to be ministered Paul and all the Apostles died getting it out.
1 Corinthians 15:1-2. Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;
By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.
NOW THIS PERSECUTION IS FROM WITHIN THEW CHURCH! We argue about viewpoints in eschatology, ect.. And the message where in we stand has ceased! "Wiles of the devil." Notice the strife here lately? This persecution and scheme is global! Notice the attacks is not on you, its on your beliefs. Its on truth, Its on the Lord.
