Rev 12:6 And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days.

3.5 years the woman before she's devoured.

Who's the woman? The bride of Jesus experiencing pre-wedding turmoil?

    Hi Julie.

The believe the Woman is Israel, If you take it from verse 5 it says she brought forth a Man Child who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron. That's the Lord Jesus Christ. The church didn't come along and birth Christ. Christ came along to build his Church.

Revelation 12:4-6. And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born.

AND SHE BROUGHT FORTH A MAN CHILD, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne.

And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days.

Also in verse 1 You see a description of her that parallels with her in Genesis 37 when Joseph dreamed. Jacob interpreted the dream by the sum, moon, and stars mentioned.

Revelation 12:1 And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman CLOTHED WITH THE SUN, AND THE MOON UNDER HER FEET, AND UPON HER HEAD A CROWN OF TWELVE STARS:

Genesis 37:9-10. And he dreamed yet another dream, and told it his brethren, and said, Behold, I have dreamed a dream more; and, behold, THE SUN AND THE MOON AND THE ELEVEN STARS MADE OBEISANCE TO ME.

And he told it to his father, and to his brethren: and his father rebuked him, and said unto him, WHAT IS THIS DREAM THAT THOU HAST DREAMED? SHALL I AND THY MOTHER AND THY BRETHREN indeed come to bow down ourselves to thee to the earth?

    God bless.

Julie If you are interested in a very detailed biblical study of the stars look into E.W. Bullingers witness of the stars fantastically inspiring piece of research.

Hi julie There's a study that was extensively done that the description in Rev. 12:1 Is the Exact desciption astronomically of The Star of Bethlehem in its location in the heavens that the magi saw and brought them to the messiah. The star of bethlehem was actually a massing of 4 planets in the constellation of libra. The magi were astronomers who were in depth at studying astronomy, not astrology. Psalm 19:1-6. God originally named all the heavens including constellations. There is not enough room here to get into more detail. They saw the sign in the heavens His Star He who was Born King of the Jews. Some food for thought.
