    Hi Camilo.

I would like to second Brother Jesse.

He may have hit the wrong key on the pad. He meant to give you Luke 3:17.Whose fan is in his hand, and he will throughly purge his floor, and will gather the wheat into his garner; but the chaff he will burn with fire unquenchable.

    God bless.

Thanks brother! Yes, I meant to type Luke 3:17. It's a little harder typing on a phone!

    Camilo,

In Luke 3:27, it says that wheat will be gathered into his garner. The garner would be the same thing as the threshing floor. What they would do is they would gather the crops in and they would grind it on the threshing floor, and the grain would separate from the chaff, and then they would take a shovel, a winnowing fork, a winnowing fan, and they throw it up in the air. And the grain would only travel a certain distance but the chaff would blow even further away.

By the time you got through with this process you got two piles. One goes into the barn, and the other one you burn. He is saying that's the way it is with Jesus, either you are going to get baptized with His spirit, because that's the name of His ministry. He will either baptize you with the Holy Spirit, or the fire of judgment. There are only two kinds of people, and only two ways to go. So the threshing floor was used to separate the wheat from the chaff.
