Matthew 24 and Luke 21 are THE SIGNS we are to be identifying. They're described as birth pains. For instance: at the beginning California caught on fire every other year; then every year. Now they are burning continuously because of crippling drought. This year drought, floods and fire. Don't get caught saying what 2 Peter 3:4 says.

WHY WOULD WE NOT BE LOOKING FOR NEW HEAVENS AND A NEW EARTH??!

Jesus is Returning whether we want to go or not. And maybe you should go on YouTube and watch some of the Apocalypse or Rapture movies to get a grip on a soon to be reality. Some of them are awful, but it gets the point across.

That's why some of us are always preaching on the "Rapture". God is not being mean. This has been in this Bible from Genesis to Present Day. Thousands of years! We just happen to be the Terminal Generation. Rabbi Schneider said a generation is 70 years. I'm 70 yrs old :D

Evangelize loved ones, friends, neighbors, people at our grocery store, etc. This is the time to do it.

It's just like the devil to get everyone on social media, Twitter, etc, NOT TALKING TO EACH OTHER FACE TO FACE. We're all holed up in our secret identities, talking to people we may have never met...do we know if they're born again?

I agree with what you are saying. We as believers should be excited about the Lord's return. I personally think it is soon but I am also careful not to set a time frame on His return, or say that we are living in that "generation" now.

If I may share something, in Matthew 24:34, Jesus says, "This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled. There have been people over the years that have taken this verse and said the Lord is coming soon and that they were living in that "generation" time frame. But actually, the word generation itself has no association with years at all unless someone puts the years with it. Many have taken this verse and predicted the time of the rapture or the Lord's return because they took the word generation, associated with years, and it had nothing to do with years.

The word generation means race or kind of people. GENEA is the word and it means race or kind of people. Several years ago, someone once said that generation meant 40 years. And when Jerusalem became a nation in 1948, they figured that 40 years from then that the rapture would happen in 1988. Many others have also made predictions based on taking the word generation and putting years to it.

But GENEA has nothing to do with years. It's a race or kind of people. What Jesus was saying in Matthew 24 is that this race of people (Jews) shall not pass away until all these things be fulfilled. They are His elect. They are His protected people, His chosen people, and He will fulfill His promises to them.

But I do agree with you. We should be hoping and praying for the Lord to come soon. Our world is in a mess right now!

Hiya Jesse but according to Jesus God has only 1 chosen ppl which are spirits the H.G. plural As Romans 9 v 8 says the Children of the flesh are not the children of God its the Children of Promise that are counted for that good seed which is the H.G. the Children of Promise that has to be born in us via the seed of Christ, Thats y the new birth is so important that good seed is gonna form Christ in us which is the H.G. The Child of PROMISE unless ya receive the Kingdom of God as a lil Child you will in no wise enter there in. There was none righteous no not one b/f Christ and his seed the words of the new covenant the contents of the book th words of life. He wrote with his own blood. I know that Paul says we like issac are children of Promise but we are just a joint heir with the H.G the Child of Promise . Ya remember Jesus said behold i send the Promise of my FATHER upon you which was baptism of the H.G. THE CHILD OF PROMISE. Which was baptism of the H.G.
