Bible Discussion Thread

Before I started my relationship with Jesus Christ, I was struggling with depression, self-doubt, and pornography addiction since high school. It has led me to close bouts of suicide, the idea of disappearing, and a trouble in 2019 made me reflect who I am. In 2020, COVID-19 pandemic occurred and hopelessness seems to take a hold of me. Until the same year I saw Greg Laurie's Harvest at Home service and made a commitment to Jesus Christ. Since then, my faith grown through storms of life, challenges, devotions, and prayer life. Finally in 2021, I overcome depression and self-doubt by the love and mercy of God and defeating pornography addiction through the word of God and prayer.

Number 8 Trust me your in good company we all know were not perfect and we all know we are forgiven.

Don't feel too bad about it, Number 8 - we've all misunderstood an enquirer's actual question at some time or the other; we can have a little chuckle at some unexpected comments that are sometimes given. However, to make you feel even worse, you've posted this comment under the wrong thread, so the person enquiring about Number 8 in the Bible won't see it. Thank you Chris and Dianne I think I'll just leave it alone I've done enough damage already!(lol!). My Pastor just said the other day in church that we could not laugh at ourselves sometimes we probably need to reevaluate our relationship with God. I think I'm well balanced not only can I laugh at myself I pretty much can get other people to laugh at me also! Thanks again, God Bless!
