Hi, my questions come from a fellow worker. He asked: Why do children suffer with sicknesses, i.e., Cancer, or any body organ problems? They are innocent. (I understand about the original sin, and I said that to him. He retorted, but why kids?) The other question was geared towards: Why are "faithful individuals constantly scrambling to make ends meet and individuals with not so reputable lives prosper? He said to me that he knew I would ponder the questions as I did for him before. I said to him that these are very difficult questions. (I have known these same questions in the past, and have not gotten an adequate answer that I could give to him.) I just trusted in the Lord, and that all questions may not have answers that I would understand. Please help me that I may pass it along to him. Thank you

Popeye asks: "infirmity" questions - Please help me that I may pass it along.

Popeye, Precious friend, I will pray for you - hope this helps:

    God's GRACE In our infirmities

    (1) Read Romans 5:1-5, especially take note of verse 3, "we glory [rejoice] in tribulations." We are not instructed here to glory in spite of the trials of life we find ourselves in, but we are to rejoice because of them. That is to say we are to thank God for allowing times of suffering into our life. This passage of Scripture expressly states that The Lord uses the tribulations of life "to conform us to The Image Of His Son" ( Romans 8:29). To this end, He uses all things "to work together for good to them that love God, to them that are the called According To His Purpose" ( Romans 8:28). As we grow mature in The Lord, our Savior is Glorified. As believers in Jesus Christ it is given us "in behalf of Christ, not only to believe on Him, but also to suffer for His Sake" ( Philippians 1:29). (Borrowed from brother Ed Bedore) My study:

    (2) After Paul [our #"pattern"# for Today!] prayed 3 times for his affliction, the "Answer he Received," According To The Scriptures, Was:

"And HE [CHRIST] Said Unto me, MY GRACE Is Sufficient For thee: For MY Strength Is Made Perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory [cp] in my infirmities, that The Power Of CHRIST May Rest Upon me!" ( 2 Corinthians 12:9) cp ( 2 Corinthians 11:23-30)

    (3) Compare With GRACE Scriptures: ( Romans 5:1-5) ( Romans 8:18) ( Romans 8:26-29) ( 1 Corinthians 10:13) ( 2 Corinthians 1:3-4) ( 2 Corinthians 4:17) ( 2 Corinthians 12:9) ( Philippians 3:21)

    #"pattern"# = Paul = ( 1 Timothy 1:16) ( Philippians 4:9)

Please be Very Encouraged In The LORD JESUS CHRIST And His Word Of Truth!

I like to believe that I am faithful to Jesus and have been most of my life! There have been times when things were not easy, but we never went without. God blessed me with a mind, and a will too work and make a good living. He has fulfilled his promises. As a matter of fact, my life at one time was as Job. Now, I can say like him that god has doubled and in some cases tripled my health, property, and children. All these things I lost a one time. The bible is true, only if you believe it and what it says, and not what someone else says! Such as Jobs friends could be like ours, who say curse God.
