    Please advise "how to" make these discussions Better with Bible verse "links" ie:

    (1) Is it ( Gen 1:1)? or ( Genesis 1 : 1)? or ( Genesis 1:1) looks ok?

    (2) How do we _underline_ a _verse link_ without the ()? Is it _Genesis 1:1_ { _underscore_ before and after the _verse_ }

    This TEST question may help as I try "different things," but I Really Appreciate all your help, also!

    God Bless you richly!!

    ALL of (1) seemed to work here but not other posts :( Best is ( Genesis 1:1)!

    (2) _Genesis 1:1_ underscored did not, so let's see IF Genesis_1:1 "might" work...

    Bummer: (2) _Genesis 1:1_ PARTIALLY underscored did not, neither did Genesis_1:1

    let's see:

    _Genesis_1:1_ ? -Genesis-1:1- ? " Genesis 1:1" ?

    Link ?

    Link ?

    God Bless All!

    Dear Chris, any basic scripture reference works and most book abbreviations work. To become hyperlink at minimum it needs a book name and chapter number. A : then verse number will make it a verse reference. A - minus sign will make it a range to be to another verse. Unfortunately, there are a few bugs we're aware of and are hoping to find a developer who knows how to fix it. Also, any links to this site will convert to 'link' and work properly. There is no functionality using an underscore or parenthesis. Below are examples of how to type a reference. God bless you!

    Luke 1

    Luke 1:1

    Luke 1:1-2
