This man had an excellent memory to remember all of that. Just saying... And thank The LORD he did!

You're right, Johnny, there are a lot of details in that chapter & ordinarily no man could ever hope to retain or even recall all that information. Yet, 2 Peter 1:20,21 reminds us: "Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost."

I understand these verses to mean that if the Holy Spirit of God gave Ezekiel all that detail in a vision, it was the same Spirit that enabled him to write that down at some point after receiving that Word. I'm sure his memory would have been as ours - but when Spirit-charged, he could say with the Psalmist ( Psalm 45:1): "my tongue is the pen of a ready writer." That is, Ezekiel's vision & declaration to Israel ( Ezekiel 40:2,4) was guided by the Spirit of God in writing this prophecy.

1 Cor 1:30 "But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption."

This is beyond words marvelous -- To have the full knowledge of this begin to dawn. I can't say Thank you enough.
