Jeremiah 3:12

Go and proclaim these words toward the north, and say, Return, thou backsliding Israel, saith the LORD; and I will not cause mine anger to fall upon you: for I am merciful, saith the LORD, and I will not keep anger for ever.

This shows ME that I should never allow myself to be taken captive by runaway anger or bad moods.

I'm looking at this definition and amazed at the amount. If I was clobbered by my brother it was like Moe & Larry of 3 stooges fame.

My Dad would lightly slap the top of my head to communicate, "Think Again."

Ha ha ha , it's a very English word I think , haven't heard many Americans use it , I'm a Stan and Ollie kind of girl . 3 stooges played too rough for me . May God bless you and all our comedians who have helped to cheer us up in this dark world .
