Power is essential too the livelihood of man. Living within the means provided is part of the world we live in. This power we have has been shared from the beginning, by many. When this power is redistributed without thought or concern with the necessities of man, it will bring destruction! This destruction will be irreversible, those that think they do Gods will will bring swift destruction! These the consequences ,when man thinks he is more powerful than God ,or makes himself equal to Him. Mans ways are not Gods, The memories of the past are covered with the sins of the present! Sin, is what separates us from the power. The power of God, found in the shed blood of Christ! Make no mistake , the fool has said in his heart there is no God! After returning from the east, I found many idol, that supply the power. The power of the light that shines, even the spoken word! This new power, they say will supplement all the rest, if only for a short time!

Watch and be sober, your redemption draws nigh! Repent and be baptized, in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit!

Brother Fred, what you write seems reasonable. I might have been 15 years old when a friend suggested that I have a living soul within my known understanding of myself. So, we need teachers of the whole truths of God and examples of how we learned enough to come to realization that we were sinners and by sin separated from God. We also needed to learn of God's redemption plan in Jesus. Likewise we needed to understand that we would have to reach out as sinners to this plan, Jesus, by faith at the Cross and no works in life could help us. For me it took from 15 old to 31 years old to truly understand my present condition as lost and my lack of faith to become saved. Wondering how it went for you id you like to share.

Knowing now his grace towards me, even when separated by sin, is enough evidence to think clearly concerning salvation and the will of God towards man. Looking back on a life filled with sin , it is impossible to say that God does not have a purpose for us all! While, rehearsing the past, wondering if it was only a dream, finding moments of good with the bad. Decisions made sometimes thoughtless, sometimes made out of desperation, hoping in the end their would be a reason for it all. That somehow some way there would be a victory through it all! Yes, I did receive the alter call at 15 yrs old, but was not baptized until 22. At 30, without hope, despondent, in a place where none should ever be! All the baptisms, all the alter calls could not save me! I was in trouble! Ready, to loose my mind at any given moment, holding on to an edge of life that would not let me go! This evil one ,Waiting to see my end!

Giving yourself to Christ, looking too Him was more than my baptism could achieve, more than any alter call. When you give yourself too Him nothing else will matter, not in heaven or earth! Understanding what this man did in exchange for my helpless soul , would require a journey, a journey underwritten by Him! You cannot go through this life without Him. You can try, but in the end where will you find yourself?

Many perhaps, don't need a savior, these who have made all the right choices. These who look down on the helpless and confess they do not know us. who compare themselves unto others, not knowing the righteousness of God! These are the work righteous who will stand as we , before him, with or without Christ! Will you take His hand now? Or, will you wait until the darkness comes! Will you Repent and be baptized, or will you search for Him when it is too late!

Thank you Brother Fred for sharing. I also accepted an altar call around age 28, in which I gained Grace to search more of the scriptures and understand the need for true repentance by faith. Grace came upon me to completely turn from willing sin in my life and in faith cry out to Jesus, and my sins were forgiven and I was free, free with Peace that is past understanding. A spiritual baptism had taken place. Within a year I was outwardly baptized by water after a confession of faith before like minded believers in to the Body or Bride of Christ. I married in this same body of believers and have raised children now that also found repentance and grace in their lives at a much earlier age. They too have peace in their lives and have the baptism of the Holy Spirit as well as an outward baptism of confession of faith and are members of the Bride of Christ. I married my wife by faith in due time after the Lord independently placed our love in each other's hearts for one another.

The life of the new creature in a born again believer is from the perspective of being at the feet of Jesus the Lamb of God.

We cannot compare ourselves amongst ourselves and we cannot interfere with the Lord's message to Come. We are with Him in his message. We have the grace to turn away from our fleshly message if we continue to believe. I hope too Brother Fred that you can by example be full of His Grace and truth which is peace and understanding. We live in a sad world but we are not to be sad. Our happiness and faith is our testimony. Be of good courage, Jesus will return to gather all that are His in due time. As you say, Watch and be ready. Part of being ready is being at peace and being happy which is being thankful, and being thankful is security and humility which is by faith acceptance.

Thank you for your writings Brother Fred. This world is waxing older but by repentance in Jesus Christ a lion and a lamb can be together in peace and understanding while time remains.

I have met and spoken with families that live together in the body of Christ. Who are sound in faith and trust the words of Christ! Broken families are not uncommon, and blended families are more common. There is a condition of unbelief that is underscoring the lives of many. A faithless generation of leaven Jesus has warned us of. The leaven of the scribes and Pharisee. Wisdom and knowledge will be found in the beloved word of God! A country founded on the principles of the Devine providence and supernatural powers of a living God! The power of the Holy Spirit is very much alive, the church has over these last days have made light of this, even so now our gov.t rewarding the unmarried! America is a Christian nation, built on these fundamentals of faith in the resurrection, everlasting life, and judgment of God. It is vital that we share our faith in this place we live!

    Hi Brother Fred,

I enjoy your posts very much, but I feel the need to make a few comments about things about your statement:" America is a Christian nation, built on these fundamentals of faith in the resurrection, everlasting life, and judgment of God."

We need to realize the following.

-From the beginning - We invaded this country America, killed and humiliated the local Indian inhabitants, and we stole their land, and treasure. This is really not OUR country!

-We brought slaves into the country, to be used, and then when they were finally freed, we discriminated against them, in all walks of life, for many, many years, and some forms of discrimination continue on to this day.

-We killed many of our own during the Civil War, invaded many other countries, including Vietnam, Korea, etc. killed many inhabitants, and many of our young people. Some war could be justified but most of it not.

-Dropped two (2) atom bombs in Japan, and devastated the inhabitants. This did not need to happen.

    - We continue to invade other countries to this day.

-We legalized abortion, and continue killing babies non-stop.

    -We legalized gay marriage.

    I could go on..

We should all get down on our knees and beg God for forgiveness. I will agree, there are some good christians in this country, but there has never been enough! We all need to stop lying to ourselves, we have NEVER been a good Christian nation!

    God bless.

The law, the terms and conditions concerning the sanctification and forgiveness of sin , were spelled out specifically according to the law of Moses. Looking at history and the failures of society, have been given too us through the old testament. Sin is a condition that man from creation has separated us from our Father. The law could never make us perfect. There would always be a remembrance of those things.

Things being the sins, that easily separate us from His perfect righteousness and His WILL for His creation!

Now we live under grace. The grace found through the continuing forgiveness of sin through faith in the blood of Jesus. This new covenant, given to you and me freely, securing a new way between God and man! So, then the law is only a schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, old things are pasted away, all things are become new! The sins from the past can only be covered and forgiven through the blood of Christ. When we understand these things, then we can say without hesitation, from a new forgiven condition, what Jesus has shown us is the way the truth and the life. These things should drive us immediately to our knees as we cry and say thank you for such great love! Thank you Jesus for such great love!

Thank you Brother Fred. For more meditation, consider the Divine providence of God in allowing the formation of the United States (for a time) as a place that the True Church could become more visible from having for centuries to live far more hidden in the wilderness. A place where baptism was not required as citizenship. A place stable enough to allow the Gospel to be spread throughout the earth even towards the neighbor as love. A place that a believing member of the Kingdom of God or Body of Christ could rest as a pilgrim and stranger on their way to the far off Country. The same pilgrim and strangers can easily obey by the grace and peace at the Cross, the authorities above them as required by the Gospel. The same pilgrims can pray for the authorities to rule rightly. When these prayers are answered by the True Authority that gives providence where it pleases Him, will in return provide quietness as a witness to the believer, the believer's neighbor and all of the world.
