Bible Discussion Thread

So, when I was younger, I got saved, or so I thought. But now that I'm older, I'm looking back and wondering if I really truly got saved, or if I was just going through the motions and just saying the words. When I was younger, I knew that I was under conviction, and it would bother me every night and would fall asleep crying. It has been bothering for a few months now. What do I do?

If you are feeling conviction again than pray about it. It could be that God is trying to get you to pray more we are saved by faith. It could be the devil tempting you trying to make you believe you are not saved. So, pray to God really get down on your knees and pray don't just pray a few minutes really pray make it an hour are so. Don't stop until you get in contact with God and get the reassurance that you are saved

The holy spirit has been with you! Why do u need to know? He made you a promise, and has kept it. Now you want to know? Would it make any difference if you did know? I think not, for with the heart we believe unto God. Knowing that He died for you is enough! Faith in the risen savior, who died for you. Emily!

Having a lot of doubts and questions can easily be solved if we'll be honest with ourselves.You can pray a prayer of recommitment, and be sure all is well between you and the Lord.

Do some Googling for a Church near you. Get involved later. :D One of the best "jobs" is greeter. It's nice to be the friendly face people see first. Churches that teach just the Bible are best. We learn more.
