I am not a good reader any of us me a lot to learn the words I wish I could read even better I would understand more just need you guys to help people like me to understand the word of God
The Lord will meet you right where you are at! God don't depend on man's intellect.
If we depend on our reasoning to fully understand the bible we all would be lost. God put his spirit in man and opened our eyes to what he has to say to us.
1 Corinthians 2:9-16. But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.
But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.
For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.
Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.
Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.
But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man.
For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.
1 Corinthians 1:26-29. For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called:
But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;
And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are:
Dear Gloria , any one and every one on here will be happy to help you any time . You say you are not a good reader , it would definately benefit you to get some help with that . May be ask a friend or relative ? Or even some one at your local church might give you a helping hand . You might be surprised to find that lots of people would be glad to help you if you can pluck up the courage to ask them . God has a lot to tell you Gloria , open your heart and mind to Him and He will fill it full of good things . Be strong and brave and ask for His help in your prayers and ask a person , a Christian if possible , and I'm confident you will get the help you need . Patience and determination . I'm sure you can do it with God's help . Much love to you .
