Follow peace with all men , and holiness , without which no man shall see the Lord ; looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God ; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you , and thereby many be defiled .
The key word is " holiness " we can not compromise peace with men by there sin even false doctrines . If we do it's down hill and out of touch with God until repented of .
Read the seven churches in revelation and see what compromises do . The Lord calls them to repent .
Here is a question do we except errors and sin by others ? We can be at peace with all men but not at the expense of holiness. Love is faithful to the truth and rejoiceth not with sin or error
Reading verse by verse Jesus Christ on the cross said forgive them father for they know not what they do, remember what you've been forgiven for and at one time you and I were as they are. Many times they read us first then the word that's why we are as Paul writes living epistles. We are being known and read all the time they may not say anything but that doesn't mean its not noticed. I forget where its written if at all possible to live peaceably with all men. Just don't get caught up in their habits. Prayerfully this helped.

You cannot partake in their sins or you are no better than them , we are to be an example of a person in Christ , not a sinner .
Only by the grace of God and obedience to his word is that possible and we are to be that for them to see . We can not keep doing the same old sins . Or we are just hypocrites.
Jesus sat with sinners to win them and they did not have much time to decide to believe in him or not . He never condone sin but revealed it to them , many sought to kill him for doing that , some repented and changed .
