What verses in the bible help someone to deal with the death of loved ones, a child and a mother?

    Hi Phyllis.

Google Dr. J. Vernon McGee :: Death of a Little Child.

    I Pray this Helps.

    God bless you.

These scriptures are not as well known as Psalm 23; but they offer assurance that you will see your loved ones again. Hold fast to Jesus. Follow Him.

    Proverbs 2:8

He keepeth the paths of judgment, and preserveth the way of his saints.

    Psalms 116:15

Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints.

    Jude 1:24-25

Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy,

25 To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and EVER. Amen.

    2 Timothy 1:12

For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know WHOM I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able TO KEEP that which I have committed unto him [the soul] against That day. [the day of death]

Pencil these in a bare page in your Bible.
