I could use some help finding any verses in the Bible in reference to witnessing, the one I'm looking for talks about if we tell them and they don't accept the Lord then their blood is on them but if we don't tell them their blood is on us. I know it's not word for word. I really want to use the verses to witness. Thanks for any help
Rick I truly appreciate your response but I have to mention in reference to your comment about " in our day and time " I don't believe what the Lord directed us about witnessing has changed. Remember the Bible tells us that God is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow. I think people need to know that hell is real and eternal. We also will be held accountable for people God brings into our lives for us to share the Gospel with that we don't share Salvation with. I've been praying for our Lord to open the door for me to witness and I believe he has shown me a way. I still haven't found the verses I remember reading but will continue to study until I do. There's something similar in Ezekiel 2:7&8
You realize the watchmen reveals what he sees to the people according to the prophets warning. If future prophecy was insignificant we wouldn't need a watchman. We wouldn't need a prophet. We wouldn't verifiably know which way the wind blow.
That's true Rick but I also think their are many instances in the Bible that carry more than one meaning, that are examples for us.
It never ceases to amaze me that there's people that do understand and still reject Jesus. Just like when satan is released for a short time after the thousand years we spend on this planet with Jesus Christ himself and there's people that choose to follow him. Ignorance I understand and I guess the answer is a case of pure evil but I just can't wrap my head around that.
Thanks again for your input, I truly appreciate it. I've been saved since 1985 and the more I learn the more I realize I don't know. I thank the Lord daily for his patience with me and I'm very thankful that he sees my heart and hopefully, overlooks my stumbling
God bless !
also Ephesians 4:29. Then Ephesians 5:1+2 this is the Age of Grace where our commission is 2 Corinthians 5 :17-20
we are witnesses of His goodness not to be condemning if they don't believe, that is on them the old saying is if they
want to go to hell that's their problem if they choose not to believe. John 3:16-18. Prayerfully this helps.
God bless

person obeying at the time, disobeyed knowing. Many now disobey and don't know or aren't taught
correctly that's a different condition [ ignorance ] but then again you have the ones who know and disobey
different situation. God Bless
