Yes, some of Canaan's descendants migrated to Africa, but some settled in the land that God later promised to Abraham.

Some of his descendants stayed in the Mesopotamian alluvial plains. Some also migrated into the areas around the Mediterranean Sea. So all of Canaan's descendants are not necessarily of negro genetics.

    Vincent.

    You quoted

"Four hundred years in Egypt as owners, paid back by four hundred years of slavery under the house of Israel (UK/US) Isaiah 14:2 The curse of Cannan is representative of certain Africans."

Well to begin with Isaiah 14:2 have not been fulfilled yet,

Look at verse 3: And it shall come to pass in the day that the LORD shall give thee rest from thy sorrow, and from thy fear, and from the hard bondage wherein thou wast made to serve,

Do Israel have the rest and live without fear over there as promised in Isaiah 14:3.?

The question is was man delivered from the curse of Adams transgression after the flood? I think not, If so we wouldn't have the account in Genesis 9:25-27. Nor would we have the account of Noah drunken with wine.

that you wrongfully ascribe to a people of today we know as black people.

All 8 souls on the Ark were under Adam's transgression "apart from Gods Atonement,' Genesis 6:14. The word pitched used here is "Atonement"

Apart from God's grace we're all Lost and unrighteous and there is no partiality with God.

Genesis 6:8-9. But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD.

These are the generations of Noah: (Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations,) and Noah walked with God.

We know Noah was just/Justified. In which you can only be by faith! They had faith in their sacrifice and offerings which we know they submitted to the Lord as we see as early as Genesis 4:4.

This is a carnal insert to a Christian forum; we should covet the new birth in the spirit and not rank in our old nature "The flesh.

    God bless.

Vincente, Yes, African Negro peoples are descended from Canaan,, but not all descendants of Canaan are Negroid. Slavery as been practiced worldwide throughout time. It has not only been African Negroes that have been enslaved. These people remain impoverished as a whole due primarily to tribalism that prevents them from working together to improve their living standards over the centuries. Much of Africa was unexplored by and so the influence of Western Civilization did not reach into these tribal peoples until recent times.

Nimrod started the practice of an enriched society, with the poor laborers to do the labor on all their fine buildings. Nimrod wanted to throw spears at Gods face..

I actually read some of the Apocrypha writings the other day; to see the references to the giants.

The spirit of Nimrod is still around. The wealthy rich forcing PEOPLE to work for low wages and live with less.

It never had anything to do with color. Rich and educated vs Poor and less opportunity to be educated. Now I was a country bumpkin whose parents sold the farm and moved to the city. We were still poor; but my parents pushed us kids to study and make good grades!

Parents of low education don't kick kids backsides and make them go to good schools and get good grades. They are told to be good athletes. To win games!

I'm 70. My family struggled post-war era to make a living and force us kids to fight for opportunity!

No goofing off. I went to a rich High School from a poorer neighborhood. My best friends were brown or black. Our parents made us get good grades, get jobs and student loans to go to college, trade schools or Viet Nam. Nobody had time to be poor and pregnant. We actually listened to our parents then. Grandparents told us about the Great Depression.

It's not the same culture. Parents work 1-2-3 jobs, kids raise themselves and siblings, money is tight, the Government thinks we're all rich; we're killing future taxpayers in the womb. Our kids don't believe in happiness, future, or Jesus Christ Returning to earth soon.

Nimrod died young, but his legacy lives on today. The filthy rich versus those struggling. Whatever color we are; we have to get these kids ready to go with Jesus. WE CAN WIN THIS. Make them kids go to church and read the Bible or NO TV. My mom came in with scissors in hand and threatened to cut the tv cord off if we didn't do our homework first! I had a better life because my parents lived, what the Bible said to do. Deu.28. No dropouts!

    Hello,

I do not despise the rich nor the poor. I grew up impoverished, but was taught like you to work hard in school and work hard at whatever situation God places us in. We may not become rich, but we can better our situation and be content with what our place in society, whether well off, poor, or in between. We were taught not to covet what others and to to not think that we should decide what others do with their money because it is not mine. If someone is "filthy" rich, as you say, I am not very affected by it, as I live within my means all these 65 years. I know that some people are very impoverished and need some help to provide for their everyday needs and provide opportunities for them to learn skills to be able to improve their employment situation. That is where charity comes into the picture as well as government help to raise people up to a better standard of life. However, as Jesus said, the poor will always be with us, and so, we should be compassionate and share our blessings. we cannot demand the rich to do this. they, like us, should be moved to help out of generosity and compassion. Many of these "filthy" rich people do give a great deal to charity and they pay well over 70-80% of the taxes in our country. I do not blame them for other people's poverty.. If wages are increased, inflation will follow and the cost of living will be adjusted. That is how the economy works. When women were mostly homemakers, a man could provide a living for their family. Once women entered the workforce, the cost of living adjusted upwards because households had two incomes. Now it is very difficult for families to live on one income.

I is a matter of economics, not necessarily rich versus poor.

Hi Maranatha Nimrod was a real piece of work who was absolutely defiant in the face of the True God

In Genesis 10:9 the word before in this context is defiant or against the same word used in Genesis 6:11

where the earth wa corrupt before the lord.

I have rad that interpretation, too. Very little information is given about Nimrod or many of the other people who lived between Noah and Abraham. I try not to go beyond the text. If more information is uncovered archeologically, then we may learn more about other people who lived during this time.

It was bad for the laborers. The Godhead looked on this and agreed to create languages. The people moved away to other places and built towns where their own language was spoken. Amazingly, customs and traditions, were born.

I did a study on migrations of people. Boats were built and they crossed oceans to settle other continents. Archaeologists found bones of black ancestors in South America, island nations, North America! All over! Polynesia, Cold countries were populated, etc It's exciting just to think about Gods Wisdom. It's inside of us to want to be free. Human bones tell stories of unimaginable Will to be free and thrive. To transport themselves to unknown regions and build. He is not distant and uninvolved. It made my heart excited about God even more so. Heaven is going to look like Gods heart. Despite what's happening now on earth, someday we will see the Purpose in perfection.

Segregation of any type will simply cease.

Just following Esaus' wanderings proves the blessing given to Ishmael. The Geneologies name them as Princes! It is proof God blessed Ishmael mightily as a son of Abraham. The jealousy cannot enter Heaven. It dies at Armageddon. Those who are spiritual should pray over those nations now; for the remnant. God is Love. He wants every tongue and nation, in Heaven. The Mahdi will take them the wrong way.

Jesus loves everyone just as they are. We are accepted in the BELOVED. Think about that. We must hold tight to Him only, through the End of Days.

Off topic, but you seem to be a good person to ask...What are the Seven Spirits of God? I know there're references to the seven churches, seven candlesticks, etc., but I was wondering what exactly theologians say about these references?

Yes, I spend a good part of last January -march studying what I could find about this early history and the migrations of peoples. It was really interesting and helped me to understand these chapters in genesis better.

Ishmael inter-married with the Canaanites. Esau inter-married with the Canaanites and Ishmael.
