    Is the Holy Spirit different from the Holy Ghost? Are tthey the same? If there is a difference, what is it? Thank you and God bless, I love this app!

    Both terms "Holy Spirit" and "Holy Ghost" refer to the same being.

    Brother Bob:

    God is SPIRIT, there is only ONE God and only ONE Spirit.

    God alone is Holy, therefore God is the Holy Spirit.

    Spirit cannot be seen, a ghost cannot be seen, therefore God is the Holy Ghost.

    Ephesians 4:6 One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.

    Ephesians 4:4 There is one body, and ONE SPIRIT .......

    Hello Blaine One scripture example of your answer Acts 5:32 the Holy Ghost or Hagion pneuma [separate wind or breath ]whom God hath given to them that obey him, the gift form the Giver. Also holy spirit also translated

    holy [set apart by God] spirit wind or breath which ties in with John 4:24 which what God is Spirit and we were given His Gift, holy spirit. I like spirit better because ghost makes it sound mystical, that's just opinion. They are both the same.
