I'm so lost I am struggling with drugs and the loss of my sister mother and brother in 3 years and I got sober for a week!!! No drink or anything but I'm crying at 6 am and I grabbed my bible and it said proverbs chapter 12!! Why
Tony, I'm sorry that you lost your loved ones and are on drugs. I'm really glad that you quit for a week. I know the Lord is tugging at your heart cuz you picked up your Bible and cried. I went through the same thing at Different times in my life. And God brought me out and delivered me. But I never gave up on him. And he never gave up on me just like he said in his word. He'll never leave us or for sake us. He should've left me along time ago but he didn't and I love him for it. I have a friend named Tony that I'm praying for. Don't give up on God. He won't give up on you. Even when the devil tries to make you think God doesn't want you anymore . God does want you. I'm praying for you tonight.
You have suffered great losses in your family members in such a sort time. I am sorry for your loss and will pray for you. I pray that You God, the God of all comfort will comfort you today and every day that you are sorrowful. I pray that the Spirit will help you overcome your sense of loss and your propensity to use drugs and alcohol. Lord Jesus, deliver Tony from these substances and the power behind the dependency. Direct people to Tony who can help him in this battle and direct Tony away from anyone who will lead him to stumble in his daily walk in sobriety and faith in you. I am thankful, Lord that you draw near to the brokenhearted and those wo can not help themselves overcome their troubles. Only You are able to completely defeat what is warring with Tony. We trust you to accomplish this great deliverance in Your Holy Name, Jesus Christ.
Hi Tony, maybe God is sending you a message to fill your emptiness with Him rather than try to temporary numb the pain which you probably already know never solves the problem and only makes things worse overall.
You might consider giving your burden and your heart to God. This page has some steps that might be helpful, whether you're a new, or just coming back to the faith, or unsure: Link
You can find support here, but its even better to find support in person like a grief group you can meet with. Please don't try to face it alone. You have God, but you can also seek support through groups. It takes effort and is scary going the first time but if you commit to at least a 4 sessions to give it a full effort before giving up you will be doing yourself a favor. You may also consider meeting with a church pastor- call a church office secretary to set that up. It's free. People are there to help you get through your grief and loss. Many others have lost loved ones too and can relate. Sorry for your loss. If you hang in there and make a few of these steps you will be a much better place.
I just wanted to add to discussion, Proverbs 12:28, Proverbs 3:11-12,
Pray "FATHER GOD ALMIGHTY deliver me from all addiction, restrain me, sustain me, direct, me guide me, help me LORD."
I will & have prayed with you in agreement on this. I also pray for healing in every way. Matthew 18:18-20, John 14:12-15,
Psalms 22:24, Psalms 145:16-19,
Advice stop talking, texting, meeting & calling those who lead u in wrong directions, & habits. Flee!! Psalms 143:9,
Psalms 51:2,
Psalms 139, read this when you feel alone & hold tight to GOD & HIS promises, cry out to HIM. HE does deliver, HE does heal.

So I will give you a good word brother :)
Are you saved ? Have you believed in the Lord Jesus Christ alone for your salvation ?
If so here is another bible verse:
Psalms 27:14
"Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD."
The Lord will help you just BELIEVE on him and wait for him !
I pray for you my friend !
