    1 week = 7 years

    Kathy,

All prophecies concerning the last days are based upon Daniel 9:24-27, which presents the 70th week of Daniel. The 70th week is actually a 7-year period, not 490 years. In prophecy, 69 weeks have passed. Right now we are living in a time period known as the "Times of the Gentiles." It's the time from the death of Christ, until the rapture. We do not know the time period. We are in that period now; it is called the time of the Gentiles.

The next event to happen is the rapture of the church. And from the rapture of the church until the second coming of Christ, it is called the 70th week of Daniel. We have had 69 weeks, 483 years. And those 483 years ended at the crucifixion of Christ. But now, there is this time period which is called the time of the Gentiles, between the death of Christ, and His coming for His church. And we don't know the time frame, but as soon as the church is removed, as soon as the tribulation period begins, there will be seven years, that is, one week, 1 seven in Jewish literature. There will be seven years of tribulation. This is known as the 70th week of Daniel.

    Hi Kathy.

    A sabbatical week =7 years. So 7 70= 490 years.

    God bless.
